We appreciated the welcome package of goodies from local businesses and it was a great location from which to explore the island. The kitchen was well-equipped and made it easy to cook.”

”Room in the Cannery was clean and spacious. Lovely balcony with partial view. Although nothing the hotel can do about it but it is directly under the Victoria Airport flight path so planes flying over at 5 am were annoying. Breakfast was disappointing.”

”Ocean views: IMMACULATE. Cannot stress this enough. Restaurant: amazing service and food, and benefits from the above views, at an even greater vantage point. The pool had water in it, which was enough for my kids and I. Change rooms were clean. That said, the room was stark, and not decorated. No rugs, no art, and twenty years behind on a reno. But worth it for the above, the phenomenal location, and the friendly staff. ”

”My room was basic at best with a double bed rather than Queen. The heating/cooling system was noisy and the room overlooked a roof top which contained various machinery probably related to the heating and cooling system of the hotel. Not pretty at all. However the staff were nice and the room was clean.”

”everything except one issue that we had was good. the one issue we had was the cleaning person was very rude to us when trying to use the elevator from the fifth floor to the lobby had to wait for the next cycle of elevator floors before we could go down to the lobby.very frustrating when carrying all luggage and pet wating extra time for the one and only slow elevator. ”

”Arrived at 1:30 am after a late airplane flight, Staff had paperwork and our room ready and waiting for us. So nice to come to a clean room and comfy bed. The room also had a cosy fireplace to warm up to,”
