”When we arrived at the room, there was already someone occupying it, in the bed - they had assigned us and another guest the same room. Definitely deadbolt the door if you stay here, since someone could barge in at any time. There’s also no elevator, so ask for a first floor room if you have lots of bags. Everything else was fine (cleanliness, breakfast, noise), about the level you would expect for a hotel of this price range”

”The nostalgia of this property is unavoidable. The history is amazing, thinking about all the folks who have darkened those doors over the years. Breakfast was amazing! The young lady that hosted us did a phenomenal job. She was happy to be there and made it evident she enjoyed serving the folks joining her for breakfast.”

”Room including vents were clean. Voucher for breakfast definitely a plus. Only issue was the bed squeaked with every little turn.”

”Nice staying at Browns Inn at Salida. We were satisfied with accommodation and service but sustainability could be thought better (the same thing applies to many other hotels as well). Why do hotels still have plastic cutlery and cardboard plates? ”

”Clean quiet rooms. Wasn’t too fond of the window air conditioner tucked in the back of the bathroom. But overall a nice place to stay.”
