”The worst part was arriving tired after a long drive and having to wait an hour for room to be ready. Must’ve been the very last one cleaned as a dozen other guests got their room keys immediately. Breakfast was excellent. And the pool area was nice.”

We also appreciated the recycling evident in trash collection. The location is ideal. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful.”

”Lovely place to stay, though rough conditions of sidewalks (all around Santa Fe!) make walking a bit more difficult. I love the character of the room, quirky floors and artwork. The room had all the desired equipment - microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker. Bathroom and shower were a good size. The shower curtain needs to be longer; water seepage was common. ”The innkeeper was so helpful and the room was so quiet and near to parking, with very little walking involved for elderly people! We enjoyed having the little reading room for a quiet evening. The fireplace and coffee in the morning was a delight. Each breakfast was very unique and created with obvious care.”

”This is a fun old-timey hotel right in the center of Durango- we liked it because it was Kitschy and fun. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and large, and the shower was fine. The breakfast was very basic-- like what you would get at a Holiday Inn Express. They did have coffee on each floor though, which was nice. ”
