”This might be the prettiest place I ever stayed at. The scenery is spectacular. The hotel is just perfect. It's a beautiful country-house with exceptional food and the service is great. A++. I strongly recommend this. We did the horse and ATV tour and it's a must do. Fly into Wellington and rent a car to see the beautiful scenery on the 2 hr drive. I would love to return.”

”I booked 3 nights, but ended up staying a week. Place is nice, clean, cosy, staff superfriendly, surroundings very beautiful and peaceful. Kitchen is well equipped and there is lots of space. Dorm room was warm enough for me, I find most of the NZ hostels too cold on winter time. Moana Lodge is truly a home away from home and good place to stay if you need a break from busy Wellington. Only thing I wish to change is that they should have unlimited wi-fi., altough I did get as much those 1GB...

”Located nicely! It’s a really good motel for such a cheap price! Clean rooms and spacious room! Love that it has a parking space for your car as well! Check in is supposed to be till 9pm but we arrived at 10pm - but the owner/manager kindly waited for us to arrive. The kitchennete is so big and had everything! The beds are so comfy and plenty of pillows! They have a big cabinet for you to pur your stuff in and plenty of hangers!
Taking off some stars because in our room there was a bad smell...
