”I hate the fact i had to get out of bed TWICE and come downstairs to get my smoke alarm to turn off and was accused of smoking..... even though multiple other guests were having the same issue at 5am!!!!”

”Stayed for several nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Cookies were warm and tasty.”

”Hotel was clean enough. But not CLEAN. The dust was noticeable on fixtures in the hallway, elevator was dirty. Pool tiles were missing and had a film on them. Bathroom sink was clean but shower had mold. Bed was super comfy. Pillows were great. Breakfast was good. I would stay again if passing through, but wouldn't go out of my way to stay there.”

”My fourth stay at the Kalamazoo House didn't disappoint. As always, Amy is a delight and the breakfasts are a great start to a day. The room was in excellent condition and everything worked as expected. Can't wait to have an excuse to come back.”

”We have stayed here twice and the staff, cleanliness, hotel ambiance and amenities are excellent. Check in staff was very friendly and efficient. Breakfast is inexpensive and the staff is working hard to keep food refreshed and they were very pleasant. The hotel and eating areas are nicely decorated and comfortable too. We are happy to have found this hotel for when we visit family in Kalamazoo.”

”When we arrived on Friday July 3rd, we found that the door to our room was broken, would not lock. Asked front desk to have it fixed or change rooms. We were told that they had no maintenance available until Monday, and that they were fully booked. Told her we would have to cancel our reservations and find another hotel. She said that because we booked through Expedia, we would have to go back through them for a refund. Asked her to contact them, to make sure that I would get a full refund,...

”If you want a quiet sleep, request h a room not facing the freeway, but still a very nice place to stay.”

”We stopped for one night on our way from Chicago to Toronto. Quick check-in and nice spacious room. Easy to arrive and leave the hotel. Free parking.”

”Room was beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Fitness room had a lot of equipment and very clean. Pool was clean and large, there were a few mulch pieces pool side on floor, no air conditioning in pool area, and hot tub did not work . Would prefer they offered brewed coffee in lobby. There is a coffee shop inside for you to purchase. Breakfast is available to purchase inside restaurant.”

”While the staff was lovely, the property was not. There was a bloody-looking handprint on the mattress and on the bed frame. There was so much dust behind the bed (my phone fell back there and I hat to get it). There was a gash in the seat of the shower (I was given a handicapped room) which was pleather. The corners of the room and windows were just disgusting. Was it mold? Was it dirt? I have no idea. Lightbulbs were half missing/ burned out. The refrigerator was propped up haphazardly....
