”What a gem Creston Villa is! Thanks to Anna and Iain who made our stay a real home from home. From the breakfast with lots of choice, including so many jams, marmalades and relishes to homemade cookies to take with us for a later treat. We loved everything and we didn’t need to know anything about Lincoln before our trip, we could’ve learned it all at breakfast! Great location, easy walk into town or use the local bus service from just outside the property. Highly recommend. Thank you x”

”Very quiet location close to all amenities. Stairs may be difficult for less able people. Garden could be lovely, with some work. Car park charges have Increased to £7. , not £4.50”

”Not enough room for parking unless you have a small car.Code key system for room very hit and miss. Very nice room when you get in,clean and spacious.”

”no complaints just our room stunk of cigarettes”

”Booked last minute. Lovely comfortable guest home in a beautiful setting. Will definitely stay again when in the area.”

”A lovely place to stay, very simple check in, room was lovely, doors opening onto a lovely little garden where we sat watching the butterflies and reading! Plenty of tea and coffee for the morning! Helpful owner 🙂”

”Rooms are very tired, dated and not standardised, carpets very dirty in rooms. Television reception was so poor that made viewing anything not possible. Wifi worked, not all televisions were smart in that couldn't view streaming services. Some rooms still have single glazing, meaning cold and very noisy. The kitchen was okay but missing many things like bowls, poorly equipped. Entrance was unlit, making later arrival difficult as unable to see entrance and unable to enter code. Cleaning...

”Thouroghly enjoyed my stay at the Duke William. Rooms were well-equipped and spotlessly clean. I did like the real coffee and cafetière in the room it is a nice touch along with the cookies. Breakfast was excellent and I would stay here again. Only downside was the stairs and the narrow hallways were not easy for less mobile members of our party, and there was some noise from downstairs if you keep the window open but not enough to bother us. Thank you for a nice stay.”

”Standard of accomadation clean and tidy, and a very fair price, all in all ideal for our one night stop over, proprietor servers a great pint of beer.”

”Nice room clean comfortable and tastefully decorated.. good hot shower ! It was a little cold in the early mornings - didn’t mange to work out the heating arrangements. Chimney breast in Chatsworth showing water ingress - we understand from the owner that this was being dealt with .. Cafes not really close enough to walk to for breakfast. It would be good if the dining room had a toaster and microwave so that it would be easy to make your own . Overall a good place to stay for visiting family...
