The property and neighborhood were beautiful. However, there were a few things that require attention. The gate control only worked within a foot of the gate, which required us to get out of our vehicle to get the gate to open. We even replaced the battery at our own expense thinking perhaps a new battery would fix the problem, but it did not. Additionally, there was only one gate control which made it inconvenient for a group of 10 adults with 3 vehicles… several light fixtures were missing lightbulbs, the pool house bathroom as well as one of the bathrooms in the main house (2nd floor) had no working light. The master bedroom’s door lock was loose. The property could use additional upkeep… the pool house had a strong mold smell. The balcony of the master bedroom was missing a railing which was dangerous with a toddler. We could not use the theater room as it required a device that used an HDMI cable… we were not aware of this beforehand so we did not bring a laptop… some of the furniture and walls had scuff marks, dirt or stains. The listing indicated the property was pet friendly, with 2 dogs up to 50 lbs limit…upon arrival we received the check in instructions that indicated no pets were allowed… we were traveling with 2 puppies based on the listing. When we contacted the host, he indicated he did not believe the listing allowed pets and requested a print screen of his own listing. The issues described did not impact our enjoyment of the property. I would stay here again.
