”The room was clean and comfortable. There seemed to be a construction project going on at the main building, but it didn't affect us at all. Breakfast was simple fare and freshly made.”

”It was weird when we got there. We couldn't find the entrance at first since it wasn't obvious. When we did find it, there was just a key left on the table with my name saying that everything was self-service. Not one employee in sight. It's an old property under renovation so it felt pretty creepy. Everything creaks and the walls are thin. The room was okay with a nice view of the Hudson. I did appreciate the snacks and water that was left in the lobby since the restaurant across the street is...

”Perfect place to stay the night. You can hear the train passing by, but there are ear plugs and a white noise machine in the room. It didn't bother us at all, but it might other folks”

”We had a wonderful stay. The room and home was very clean and well maintained. The bathroom was a highlight, with a spacious Jacuzzi bathtub that was perfect for relaxing after a long day. Everything was comfortable, and we enjoyed our visit. We would definitely stay here again.”

”Quiet location with easy driving access to the wider area. Staff were friendly and pleasant, and helpful with requests for extra towels and such. The breakfast/sitting area is bright, looking out onto a lovely patio by the stream outside that had morning shade. Room air conditioner worked very well!”

”Sheets were clean, but the headboard was nasty. Floor was iffy. Half old carpet and half hardwood. AC didn't work well. Room was damp and smelled funny. Left us 3 towels for 4 people. Beds very old and worn out. Breakfast was a bag with a granola bar and a muffin bar. No decaf coffee. Pool area smelled bad. Water was nasty. Even after washing our hair, it still smelled. Located 20 minutes from West point was one of the very few positives. We paid almost $200/night so we were quite dissatisfied.”

”While the first appearance seemed dull and unexciting (boring area), the hotel made up for it. Very clean, very quiet, and good complimentary hot breakfast in the morning. Beds were comfortable. Hotel honored my request for a quiet room away from the elevator. Good location to get back on the highway and very quick drive to restaurants etc. I’d recommend it - the only negative is the extra $100 that shows up on the charge without explanation. (Was auto removed within a day)”
