Weekend Getaway
We love the hosts and the property. This was a great find for us for our family. I think our boys played pool for three days straight. The backyard is great and our youngest daughter had the chance to ride a horse. (For an additional fee)

Great getaway
Nice property, great host. My daughter had a great time with all the animals and playing in the spacious backyard. It was nice to have her enjoying something other then electronics. Papa Kand momma K treated us just like family. Will definitely go back

Pool table, arcade, spacious 2nd floor are all ours for the stay. Besides they have 5 trampolines, water slide, swings and sand volleyball. Great place for big gathering

So fun!
My kids and I had a wonderful time! I wish we hadn’t had so many obligations while we were in town because our kids didn’t ever want to leave the property. The Kidmans are the model of hospitality. We would definitely return!

Great Experience
We were in town for a wedding. The location was perfect for what we needed. Also had plenty of space for us. My kids loved playing on the pool table and arcade game during some of our down time.

Stay and play!
Very comfortable and enjoyable, plenty of room for sleeping. Kids had fun playing pool, air hockey and watching TV. My son loved the arcade style Pacman video game. The log cabin style home was nice. Wish it hadn't been raining, so we could've enjoyed the fire pit to roast marshmallows or play more outside. Maybe next trip! Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location, fantastic hosts
This is such a gorgeous area, and the property was outstanding for my wife and children. The kids loved playing on the swings and trampolines, feeding the chickens, meeting the horses and enjoying the large grassy yard. The loft we stayed in had plenty of toys and was great for the whole family. Mama and Papa K were super friendly, super accommodating, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a marvelous experience, for which I am very grateful. I would recommend this place to anyone needing a break from city life.

Perfect quick stay before heading home
This was a great comfortable place to stop for the night and regroup before we flew home the next day. The beds were controllable and it has lots of places to just relax and play. Owners were very nice and accommodating.

A family that shares the wonderful blessing of their home and family .
What a wonderful place to bring the family to!!!!! Loved it!!!! Beautiful home log cabin style with western theme decor. Just beautiful!! So much to do right in the backyard from feeding chickens, 2 rope swings, water slide, sandbox with digger, volleyball court, 5 trampolines of different heights, a self propelled merry go round, picnic tables & chairs, fire pit and grill. Indoors there is a big pool table, an 80's style arcade game, a good size tv with some videos, books, large closet full of toys. The upstairs has its own separate air conditioner controls along with a full bathroom with tub, microwave, small fridge, plenty of seating in family room. Comfortable beds. Towels and bedding all provided. In there garage they have a freezer and fridge and bottle cooler available to use. Our Hosts mama and papa K were so friendly. I felt safe and welcomed. Beautiful views of the mountains. With permission we could use the laundry & their kitchen and dining table all located down stairs. They also have a piano room just off the entrance that is available. My grandchildren really enjoyed playing with the hosts grandchildren. They were so friendly. Horse lessons or just have the horse walked while you ride is available. The grandchildren sure enjoyed this. I would highly recommend this place!!!!! I felt very comfortable and relaxed in their home. How wonderful to have a family that shares the wonderful blessing of their home and family with others!!!! Thank you from grandma Rosy

A Lovely Treat on Our Trip!
This was such a lovely treat on our trip! We knew prior to our stay that there were plenty of fun things to do at this location, but we didn't realize just how special it would be for our family. The owners were incredibly welcoming and genuine. They provided more than a stay, but a complete experience! We enjoyed the animals on the farm, the trampolines, the swings, the pool table, the arcade game, the toy "room" and so much more! There was plenty of space for our family of 8 - a range of big kids and littles. I can't say enough about the thoughtfulness of the owners and the unique opportunity we had staying here. The kids can't stop talking about it! We will most definitely be back!!

Loved it! Warm and cozy place
Loved the house! Very detail on it! The host couple were very attentive to us and friendly! They have a beautiful view of the mountains and a big backyard that even if we didn’t use since it was snowing, it invites us to go back in the summer. Plenty farm animals: horses, donkey, chickens, dogs and also toys and playgrounds for kids. We loved being away from home in this place for the night. Thanks

Small event paradise
Very good experience hosting a small college roommate reunion here. The backyard is like a little fairground with fun swings, trampolines, volleyball court, batting cage and more. Also lights up great in the dark. Mama K was very friendly. The place is so fun and well furnished. Has everything you need and more

Amazing experience!!
Mama and Papa K made us feel so welcome and we had an amazing time! So many fun things to do in the backyard, but the best was the slip and slide you climbed up about 15 feet to! Wish we'd had more time there!!

Perfect place to stay with kids
This is the one, especially if you have kids. The kids played so much in the backyard and with all the indoor toys too. They were giddy with excitement and slept so well after eventful days. Mamma Kay and Mr Kidman were so helpful and easy to talk to they felt like an extra Grandma and Grandpa. We contacted their daughter and all 3 kids (ages 7, 5, 4) were able to ride one of the horses (Sully). The kids fell in love with the animals and didn't want to leave. When we have the opportunity to come back to Utah, we would love to stay with the Kidmans again.

Quaintly delightful
Five stars. My wife and 4 kids (ages 2 to 10) had a great weekend at Mamma K’s. Brent and Mamma K will make you feel like family and they happen to have the most fun backyard ever. Highly recommended.

AMAZING!!
We surprised our two daughters, ages 11 and 9, for a weekend away to somewhere quite and out of the city. This was the perfect place! The girls were swinging on the tree swing non-stop, jumping on the trampolines, petting Larry (the mini pony) and the cats. We are such an amazing stay and the cherry on top was Papa and Mama K!! What incredible people and completed the whole experience! They welcomed us with open arms, made sure we had everything we needed and had amazing stories to share! This should be a must visit if you want to get away and be around amazing people. Thank you Papa and Mama K for opening up your house to our family and creating such a beautiful memory for our family!

It was fun!
We had a great time! It was perfect for us. We enjoyed the pool table and the space and the yard. My kids really liked the big swing, the trampolines, and the fun toys that were available. It was great to have fun instead of being stuck in a boring hotel.

Great place for first timers :)
We loved this experience on the Kidman farm. It was our first time trying out VRBO and we hope to go again one day. Lots to do right there and not too far to town. We thoroughly enjoyed the pizza in town...something like double Jack's Pizza. Papa K gave us great tips for our trip to Manti. We had a bit of trouble finding the place ...GPS had us arriving at another address with a wee gravel drive through their yard and found their place...the neighbors were very helpful. An excellent place for kids with a couple of private bedrooms and a family one. ...but only 1 bathroom. Although it was good that it had a sliding door between the sinks and the tub/toilet area. No kitchen upstairs but a folding table and many folding chairs, a mini fridge and they told us the downstairs kitchen was open to use for us too plus an outdoor barbecue area...and fire pit. The big swing was a hit...and the friendly horse and pets were just wonderful. We thank the Kidman's for their wonderful hospitality!! (Oh and tons of toys and CD's and videos ..a pool table...air hockey...etc

Wonderful place, wonderful people!
What a fun place to relax and enjoy the country and the quiet. The yard was great for kids and younger adults. Papa K and Mama K were amazingly accommodating. Whatever we needed or wanted was willingly and happily given. They let us almost integrate into their family, and made our stay very enjoyable. This place is ideal for enjoying your family. The kids absolutely loved the whole thing. The animals, the swing, the water slide, the trampolines, the video game, and the pool table. The adults enjoyed watching the kids and talking to papa K and mama K. They were willing to open their kitchen to us for breakfast, and made sure we were well taken care of for a fire pit, and using the grill. They planned ahead, and had goodies to feed the horses and chickens. Everyone was sad to leave.

Just like staying at your favorite relatives
My wife 4 kids and Mother and Father in law stayed for wedding in town. Brent And Kay were awesome, the place is basically a dream home of ours, the view is beautiful, the back yard was great for our littles and still a topic at dinner today. The place was so gorgeous we wanted to share it with family there for the wedding, Momma and Poppa K without hesitation agreed and we had a huge family get together right In the back yard it was awesome, they really feel more like family then hosts. When we travel back for family events we will definitely be staying with them again!

Fun 4 days!
We had a great time at Mama K and Papa K's place. Our kids think that we are really cool to have found such a wonderful place and people. ;) They played with their cousins in the fun backyard along with the host's grandchildren and their little puppies. My daughter still talks about her new little friend and those cute puppies! Mama K took the kids to feed the chickens and their daughter gave us horse riding lessons. They let us use their kitchen and we grilled some tandoori chicken along with the hosts. They even let us have dinner at their table and ate along with us which were lessons for our children. It was a very relaxed vacation for us. Thank you so much for opening your house and hearts for us!

Expansive suite of rooms in working ranch house
Mamma K welcomed us with open arms and showed us to the upstairs suite of rooms in their ranch house. This is a great place for families as there are stockpiles of toys and activities available, indoors and out, for kids of all ages, including an arcade game and working popcorn machine. The living space is large and comfortable with a great TV. While the suite does not have cooking facilities we were welcomed to share the downstairs kitchen. The bedrooms were roomy and beds were great. The location was perfect for our exploration of the area.

Perfect space for our group!
This space was perfect for our family coming in from all over for a wedding. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable and the family room area was great for visiting during our downtime. If we ever gather in Spanish Fork again, we will definitely try to book here first! Thanks!

Our stay was like visiting family!
The temperature was 95 degrees outside, but we stayed cool in the upstairs of this cozy cabin. Going to the Kidman Ranch is like coming home! We enjoyed peace and quiet when we wanted, and adventure was available outside if we so desired. The Kidman's are great hosts and we found the accommodations just right for our group of four.

Fun for the family
The Kidman’s were so welcoming. They really did make us feel like we were special at their home. It felt a lot like we were going to a grandparent’s home. The big swing and tire horse swing were a real treat for our kids. It was really one of the most enjoyable experiences we have had as a family on vacation. Wonderful Family Vacation
I stayed in this space with my 5 children (ages 9-18) for 5 days and wished we had more time! This farm provided entertainment for all of us which is a difficult feat with my kids' age range. My oldest son put it perfectly when he told me: "Good job, Mom. This is an awesome wholesome vacation." When your hip teenage kid gives you a pat on the back, you know you did something right! :) Mama and Papa K were delightful and there to help if we needed it.

Warm Home, New Friends
We had an amazing vacation visiting several National Parks in UT. The bonus of our trip was having two wonderful nights at the Log Cabin and getting to know the Kidman family. They were so warm and welcoming and made us feel right at home. We admired their animals, enjoyed the conversations, had a large private space for our family and even got to play in the backyard on their trampolines and huge rope swing. It gave our vacation a personal touch and now we have new friends on the other side of the country. I highly recommend their home. We hope to go back someday. The Dixon Family

The Kidman family loved having the Dixons stay for a couple of days. This family is very very friendly and blended right in just like they were family members. They are wonderful guests and we look forward to a time they can come back. We hated to say goodbye to them. They are the best! Host them if you get a chance.

Kidmans are helpful and friendly
The housing is the top level of this cabin. Very space and comfortable for our combine families. My husband's favorite part was the popcorn machine. Because we were involved heavily in wedding plans, our actually daytime stay there was very minimal. The Kidmans are very friendly and went out of their way to provide us with extra tables and part of their personal refrigerator to aid us in our needs. The beds were comfortable. The well water has an off taste. We just bought bottle water. My grandkids age 11 enjoyed the big swing one evening. However the tower that was there to climb and swing from is definitely something that needs adult supervision and gear toward older children. Wish that we had time to try some of the other yard amenities, but we didn't.

Welcoming and comfortable. It was like an amusement park.
The upstairs area was spacious and very comfortable. My 4 children loved everything about this place. The horses, trampolines, swing and water slide put this place over the top. My husband and I loved Mama and Papa K's hospitality. It took some getting use to sharing the kitchen downstairs but with the small fridge and microwave upstairs we made it work without much inconvenience. My kids have asked for us to stay here every time we come to visit family here in Utah (my local family have asked the same thing too) What impressed me the most was how much entertaining we did here. My local family gathered here because of the space provided upstairs and the fun back yard. Mama K and Papa K made everyone feel welcomed. We also utilized the horseback riding lessons and trail rides offered. We throughly enjoyed everything these accommodations offered. Thank you so much for opening your home to us. We are going to miss our host family. I found out more information about this place after I had reserved it on HomeAway.com, on airbnb where Papa K told me they receive most of their business from. They have great reviews there. Just make sure you are aware that you are not renting the house or a full apartment. There is no full kitchen in the rental space. But you have access to their kitchen downstairs that they are very willing to share, plus two fridges and freezers in the garage for your use, plus gas grills outside and a fire pit. We loved our stay here.

This is one of the most fun families we have had stay with us. Within minutes of arriving here Mamma K and I knew we were going to enjoy having them stay for the week. They felt just like family right from the start. We loved having them around and when they were off doing something with their family we missed having them around! It was so much more than we could have possibly imagined!
My family and my sisters family stayed at this home to be close to the activities for a family reunion. Brent and Mama Kay were fantastic hosts! We had one full day where all of the family reunion participants came and spent the day. Many mentioned afterwards it was their favorite event of the reunion. Children and adults alike enjoyed time on the swing. The kids also enjoyed jumping on the trampolines, going down the awesome water slide and taking rides on the horses. The adults enjoyed visiting, and all enjoyed s'mores. We were initially hesitant feeling there might not be enough interest for the younger children (2-5 year olds). However, those feelings were alleviated as they found plenty to keep them occupied in the yard and playground. The pool table was a hit for the men, while the kids enjoyed popping popcorn in the very cool popcorn machine, with its unlimited quarters. All this while playing unlimited rounds on the arcade game! Our only regret is that we did not spend more time on the property. We will definitely put this on our list of locations to stay again!

Brandon and Amy were amazing guests. We felt like we had long lost family that had just come home. The whole family was friendly and went out of their way to make sure they "didn't do anything against the yard or house rules". They were very clean and we appreciated having them in our home. Mamma K cried a little when they left!
