”Nabitunich is a one of a kind property and staying here is an experience in itself. You are surrounded by nature on this family run farm. Seeing the toucans was a huge highlight for me. I learned a lot about the plants and trees on the farm during my tour with the owner Dominic. The little hill is perfect for watching the sunset. I ate dinner there each night. ”Calico Jacks is a bit outside San Ignacio so you definitely need a vehicle but the room was really cleaned and comfortable. I stayed for only one night so I haven’t used the pool or tried the zipline but the food at the restaurant onsite and the staff were amazing. Julio was my server and my guide the morning after to visit Barton Creek’s caves and he made sure I had a wonderful time.”

”The staff at Cassia Hill Resort are amazing. Two especially, Abby at the front desk and Carlos the security man were wonderful. Isabella in the restaurant is exceptional! The location is perfect for anyone wanting to do excursions from San Ignacio. The cabins are spacious and clean. The maintenance guys brought us fresh coconuts to drink and eat. Excellent place to stay. My daughter and I stayed 9 days and have great lifetime memories.”

”The hotel was pretty modern and new. The double suite was very large and beautiful. It was a pretty quiet, family business and the staff was so nice and accommodating. It felt like staying with family. The food was delicious as well. The area is pretty isolated, but a short cab ride can take you to town for groceries and restaurants. Super refreshing and pretty pool, and the beds were SO comfortable. ”

”When I made the reservation I thought we were at the main lodge and not at the camp. Of course the property is beautiful Accommodations were nice beds very comfortable , staff and was great but having to get up to walk to the bathroom was not fun for me so in the future when I book I will be making sure I’m at the main lodge. I think the camp is great for backpackers and those on a budget. ”
