”The hotel was clean and centrally located for our vacation to Fernandina Beach and Amelia Island. Really, the only big complaint was breakfast was subpar. The only decent thing was making your own waffles. Bacon was paper-thin and greasy. Egg bites were less than flavorful. You get the idea. Some fresh pastries would have been nice. We will stay here again & highly recommend it”

We requested a top floor room, but was told that because we booked with Expedia, they could not accommodate our request because Expedia assigns the room. We book through Expedia all the time and this was the first time they would not change our room. However, we had a pleasant stay.”

The historic property was beautifully restored and clearly very well cared for by innkeeper Veronica and her team.
