”I never stayed at the room. Between verbo and this hotel my trip was so beyond ruined that I left early to come home. I will never recommend verbo or that hotel. Verbo was the worst experience ever. I have my bank foing an investigation since I had to contest the charges since verbo could not reach the host to help with changes or canceling and the host was completely un reachable.”

”Do not get confused with the 5 starts that you see first. The room had roaches. I find some in the refrigerator as well. To keep roaches away from getting into baggage and food, we kept our belongings inside our car. We just slept at night and left as early as possible. I would suggest avoid booking random motels, go for the ones that are well named and reputed as per their price.”

”There is no staff. The property was probably built in the 60’s and had not had a single update or repair. Dead bugs when you walked in. Lights and outlets do not work. From the outside it looks terrible, trash and debris in the parking lot. We booked for two nights but only stayed one. The location is wonderful, that’s the only nice thing I can say.”

”The pictures are great, but they don't do it justice. Super vibey! Smelled wonderful. We were only there for a night, but we slept great, and we are already thinking of reasons to come back to Sparta just to stay again. Thankfully, it's near several great Tennessee State Parks, so it's a no-brainer to come in on a Friday, get an early start on Saturday for a day of hiking and sightseeing, then shower and hit the Italian restaurant downstairs or the pub across the street. Only warning: most of...

”This place was super cute. We enjoyed having the privacy it provided but, for the price...I think we couldve done better. Super nice firepit, the full kitchen was nice to have, and having a nice bed and clean towels for showering was amazing. The propane heater stopped working for us halfway through our stay. We didnt have hot water to shower, or wash dishes which is rough when it's cold out (it rained on us for three days). But overall not too bad.”

”The property is very cute, but very small. The bedrooms are tiny and do not have any side tables for the beds. The beds are decent comfort, but I guess I am spoiled by my own mattress at home. The kitchen is well appointed. The property does state that there is a limited supply of basic items, such as toilet paper, paper towels, detergent, so if you are staying longer that two days bring extra or be prepared to buy more. For as much as we paid an extra roll of toilet paper in each bathroom...

”If you want a cozy little getaway I would recommend this. It was definitely exactly what I needed. Loved the garage door being able to open and close. It mostly stayed open for us. We wanted a weekend of quiet and relaxation which is exactly what we got. Already planning on coming back for another weekend in the spring. Dog friendly as well.”
