”Exterior really smelled of cigarette smoke. Room itself was ok as smoking inside wasn’t permitted, but smoking was permitted on the property and ashtrays were abundantly available outside at all tables and outside each room. ”

”The staff was not friendly. Except the bartenders-- everyone else acts as if they are being bothered. They don't allow even 15 minutes late checkout. A man from Housekeeping opened my room's door at 10am. It was strange. He did not apologize, and I was a bit scared. ”I have stayed here for over 20 years and I have to say I have never been more disappointed. I understand they are going through construction, but this was a disaster. ”This hotel is excellent! The location and the staff are amazing! The room was clean and beautiful, the smart tv it’s easy to connect to your device to watch what you want, plus the WiFi is fast. Parking can be a bit difficult since it’s a small hotel and even street parking on St Pete Beach is hard to find.
