”Great place for a quick stop with ease access.”

”Our stay was decent overall. My only real complaints were the TV not working in our original room, which required us to change rooms, and later having our room key unexpectedly stop working. The staff was very apologetic throughout and even upgraded us to a suite, which we truly appreciated. The following day, after being out all day and returning with our hands full, our room key no longer worked. A staff member promptly came upstairs and provided us with a new set. Again, this wasn’t the fault...

”Room number 12 smells bad from cigarette smoke. There was no soap in the room. The walls were paper thin. Other than that it was a cheap motel that was okay to get enough sleep to keep driving again. No better than a 5/10 idk what these other reviews are talking about.”

”Room was fine for a one night stop. There is carpeting which seems old but overall the room was clean. We were traveling with two dogs so the low $15 fee was appreciated with no weight limit. Very close to restaurants and gas stations so perfect for some rest and a meal. Front desk attendant who checked me in was kind and quick. Breakfast was minimal but fine for a drink and a quick bite before getting on the road.”

”This hotel was a very nice surprise, excellent quality for the price! Everything was new and absolutely spotless. The hotel had everything we needed, the room was huge and the bed very comfortable. It's refreshing to see hotels that are maintained this well. Extra points for having oat milk for coffee!”

”I unfortunately had to check out earlier due to heat related issues and only stayed 1 out of the 3 nights. Expedia tried to contact Tru to confirm and Tru did not answer.”

”Ironclad was a wonderful place right in Fredericksburg, close to the town and restaurants. Our room was on the 2nd floor, no elevators, but it was okay. Sadly, the Bourbon room was closed, but the staff was ice enough to let us go down and look at the room. Very cool, would stay again!”

”Classic lake cabin with a great little beach and plenty of lovely views. Very relaxing week!”

”Locating the hotel was a problem. Better signage would help. Sitting in the adjacent parking lot, we saw several illuminated signs, but nothing indicating the hotel was around the corner. Also, reviews mentioned available sandwiches in “The Market”, which turned out to be an empty refrigerator cooler when we arrived at 9:15 PM. The best feature of our stay was a comfortable bed for a good night’s sleep.”
