”Stayed for one night. Room was clan and comfortable. There was two pools, one indoor pool and one outside in the middle of the llodge area. There also was a dry sauna. Breakfast was ok, cofffee and toasts, some yogurt and muffins. ”

”This is the first time staying at Hotel Maxwell Anderson since they are under new ownership. We usually stay at the Hotel Colorado, but wanted to give this a try and it did not disappoint. This is an absolutely stunning hotel with newly renovated rooms. The lobby is stunning and it has a sweet little coffee shop attached in addition to a great pub. The walkability to some of the best restaurants in Glenwood and a quick walk over the bridge to the Hot Springs pool is a 10/10. The front desk staff...

”Terrific location, clean and comfortable rooms, a bargain for the area, safe and quiet at night. Comfy beds, nice quality sheets, and a good variety for breakfast included. We had a room overlooking river in building A, try to book there if you can! Looking forward to returning, the town of Historic Basalt is great.”

”Such a unique and cozy place! Derek has put so much thought into designing the home both for guest comfort as well as for preserving the historical aspect of the home. The king bed was extremely comfortable, the place was well stocked with snacks and breakfast items, and the hot tub was perfect for sprawling out and relaxing after long ski days. Will definitely be back! ”

”Hot tub was out of order. A surprise charge of 10.00 a night for each vehicle to park at the hotel. The clerk finally didn't charge us for one vehicle. Breakfast was so, so. Some light switches in our room didn't work correctly. Only one extra blanket but two beds. On the plus side, the pool was so much fun. ”
