”Loved the location of this hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful - hotel smelled like it was new or had just undergone painting. Hotel lobby, hallways, design was very nicely done. The room was very nice, loved the large bathroom counter (did not see any towel racks though), room countertops were adequate for our needs, breakfast was good, hotel was quiet (enforced) and the pool was accessible off the main lobby.
Parking lot was nice and maintained. Overall a very nice hotel and I...

”Not a lot of options in the area. However, the room smelled of cigarettes, window had a large crack in the glass, no toilet paper was in the room. Looks like it wasn’t even swept or mopped. Hair ties and paper left on the floor before given to us. Pro was they charge 20 bucks for my dog. Though the room smelled better after we stayed vs when we arrived. ”Would have rated this higher except that there were a couple of times that I smelled cigarette smoke near the entrance due to workers smoking right outside the front door (one time I saw the worker, the other time it seemed that way but I didn't see it, just could smell it by the breakfast area).
Would suggest not allowing workers to smoke that close to the entrance. I am a big fan of Holiday Inn Express & Suites and probably the main reason is due to how smoke-free they keep their hotels.”

”The staff were especially nice and a highlight of the stay. The room was very tidy and comfortable and the breakfast was pretty good. My main reason for not rating higher is that the front of the Expedia page lists a hot tub but there is none at the hotel. Also the estimate for the room never mentions a charge per night for parking, which may be small but is frankly ridiculous since the front desk told me I could park at Applebees if the lot was full. ”

”Room was clean enough, but it looked like someone brought their uncle in to do the upgrades.
Staff was there, but thats about it. Absolutely zero greeting when I checked out this morning.
