Enjoy the secluded oasis and privacy of the "Kitschy Kottage" on 4 1/2 acres of pristine land just five minutes from Highway 65 and Battlefield.
This 2 bedroom, 1 bath 750 sq. ft. cottage has all the modern amenities one would expect, including full eat-in kitchen, laundry, king size beds, spacious living room, nostalgic pong video game, charming front porch, hammock, and outdoor courtyard.

This place was fantastic. Everything was exactly as described. Everything worked exactly as it should. Everything was clean. It is so unique looking, tons of pop culture stuff inside which is surprising. The hot tub was great. The Roku TVs all worked perfectly, the wifi was fast, the beds were comfortable. All expected utensils, towels, silverware, etc was all there and clean. I'm used to places having at least one thing not working, so I cant tell you how great it is being in place where everything simply works. Its clear they take great care of this place! The yard itself is really big for walks around outside. I don't have a single complaint about this. This is by far the best place I have ever stayed in on Vrbo!

What a cute place! Fun and comfortable was exactly what this was. Clean and had everything we needed for a short overnight for a road trip south. Enjoyed the peaceful night and the hot tub.

Super cute property! Kitchen was well-stocked with good pans/cooking utensils, which is a rare find with rentals! Loved the hot tub and the fire pit! Only two things that were less than ideal, but easily workable…the air fresheners in the house were overpowering, causing headaches immediately (we found them and unplugged) and the outdoor furniture on the patio was pretty chintzy and not ideal for normal sized women. We brought chairs so it didn’t matter; we were glad we brought the chairs. Would definitely stay again - it was a fun place!

We had a great stay! We had a maintenance issue and the owner responded so fast I was shocked. He got it all taken care of and we continued our stay with out issue :) would love to stay here again next time! The decor was fun, beds were comfortable, hot tub was clean, and host was great.

Another perfect getaway!

This was our second time staying at the “Kitschy Kottage”. We absolutely love it! Clean, cute and comfortable! I especially love being able to relax in the huge yard by the fire pit and swing.

Overall very very clean. All the amenities, had drinks in the fridge some Ben and Jerry's in the freezer.All the supplies! It is in the country with privacy for the hot tub a hammock and swing, front porch rocking chairs. Would stay again!!

Kitschy Kottage

Where do I begin? This rental was one of the best ones I have ever rented. It is very cozy and safe!! The amenities were more than I could ask for!! A very clean Kottage! The kitchen has everything you would need. The hot tub made it even more special. Charles took care of us with a bouquet of flowers, which my girlfriend loved!! I would rent this place again and again!! 5 stars and I would recommend this rental to anyone. I want to thank Charles for his hospitality. We had a wonderfull time!! Thanks again, Sam L.

AMAZING hidden gem in Springfield, MO

This property is the most unique hidden gem we've ever experienced and exceeded all my expectations! Nestled in a secluded area so close to Springfield, this newly renovated gem provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Upon arrival, I was immediately impressed by the retro decor and exquiste attention to detail. The interior was so fun and whimsical, with unique furnishings that created a cozy atmosphere. The open-plan living area was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploration, and the fully equipped kitchen made it easy to whip up meals. One of the standout features was the outdoor space. The hot tub was sublime and I loved the privacy—it truly felt like a retreat. The location was ideal for those wanting to venture out to Springfield as it was so close to highway 65. Plus, the hosts were incredibly welcoming and provided great local recommendations. This cottage is a delightful blend of comfort and charm. I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway! We'll definitely be back!
