”We loved how close to Washington DC it was...and also to the the Huntington Metro station! Host was very helpful on how to navigate getting to to the city, etc. The place was very nice...just a little smaller than we expected, but it was fine for what we needed for just one night. Would def book again!”

”Overall, a very pleasant stay outside of a few issues related to check-in and check-in times. Min was very communicative and available when we reached out to her over text, but was lacking just a bit in person. Lastly, the property was not yet available at the check in time that was listed in the reservation information.”

”Comfortable beds, great shower and air conditioner kept house very comfortable. My husband enjoyed the family room area with large couch and tv. Location was excellent……..20 minute to DC . House is showing its age and needs to have updates. Price was higher than it should be…….”

”Lovely space. So delighted by the king size bed. Kitchenette was perfect for our needs. Easy access to Metro and access into the Capital. 5 stars, would stay here again. ”

”Beautiful home. Very clean and well stocked. Great back yard. Will stay here again when back in the area.”

”Clean room, host is easy to communicate with, spacious rooms, AC is working properly, beddings are clean. The only thing that I think would make a guest stay more comfortably is if a sink would be at the dining/kitchen near the fridge and cooking area rather than going thru the bedroom all the way to the bathroom to wash dishes and utensils. A kitchen knife would also be a practical addition to the utensils. Also, the other bedroom is only accessed thru the shared bathroom and if locked by the...

”Uche's communication was great throughout the stay and the accommodations were first class.”

”Very nice property conveniently located for visiting Mount Vernon, DC, and Old Town Alexandria.”

”Our family had the best time in Alexandria and DC proper with The George as our homebase. Beds were very comfortable, living space and linens were all fresh and clean. The property is very close to a Safeway grocery store and with all the amenities The George offered we could easily prepare meals. The creative decor in shades of blue and coral, and special attention to detail all around the home, namely the hand painted mural in the living room, treated us all to an exceptional patriotic, DC...

”The kitchen area, dining room and living room are updated. The upstairs rooms and bathrooms are not. It is an old building and you can see that you are renovating the rooms one at a time.”

”All rooms were spacious and very clean. Location is a quiet and parking was very convenient. The only suggestion is that for individuals who are chemically sensitive the air plug ins that are used are overwhelming. If you unplug them the smell quickly dissipates. I would highly recommend this rental.”

”The property is as advertised. Warm. Inviting and tastefully decorated. Every detail has been thought of and the hosts are extremely responsive. Fantastic location within 15 minutes of the capitol buildings and monuments. Will definitely stay again with my family when next we are in the area.”

”The location was the only good thing about this place. There’s plastic on the couches that sit very low to the floor and are difficult to get up from. This is like a college rental. The minute I walked in we could hear everything the upstairs neighbors were saying and doing, not even during a party, just walking and talking. My elderly father was with me who has a heart issue and needs sleep so I immediately messaged the property owner asking for a refund since we could not possibly stay there....

”The townhouse was perfect for our family trip to DC for my niece’s wedding. The off-street parking was very helpful. The host was very helpful about reaching out to make sure our stay was comfortable.”

”The place was great. 10 minute walk to Metro, Chewish deli next door is a great, easy breakfast. Parking wasn't difficult (if you can parallel park), even with 5-6 spaces closed due to construction. I would bring a sleep mask if you want to sleep in. A lot of windows high up that don't have blinds/curtains, and it can get bright in the morning. ”

”This is a charming home in a great location in Alexandria, near the metro, a Whole Foods and Old Town. We appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked with supplies like coffee, oils for cooking, and napkins. We also enjoyed having coffee on the back patio in the morning. Maggie is a responsive and helpful host, she also sent me something I left behind during our stay. The master shower has a very nice rainfall shower head and has a low ceiling for those who are a bit taller. The air...

”Centrally located near shops and restaurants. Very comfortable bed. Lovely renovated historic carriage house. The old cobblestone floors are a very nice touch..”

”Very well appointed we had everything we needed and more! Lovely location. Would recommend this place to others.”
