”Great place to stay. Safe and secure. Lovely lake to walk around and observe wildlife. Large well appointed rooms with well appointed bathrooms. Friendly staff. Personalised service. My go to hotel when I travel to RSA.”

”Room were in a good condition except for when it rained the bathroom was flooded with water abit . Gate assistance for opening and closing was a challenge as land and mobile numbers remained unanswered as well as gate intercom . Maybe they should alert guests when functions are being held as the one night we were unable to sleep due to noise levels :-( .... Over rall the room was clean , beds lovely size and jacuzzi a nice feature , breakfast was absolutely brilliant - good service. ”

”On 8 August 2023 at 13:21, I called Acre of Africa Guest House to open the gate. They answered and said they will open the gate. In South Africa, too many people have hijacked at gates so I left rather than wait for them to respond. They finally called me back 17 minutes later. - but by then it was too late. Waiting for them to open the gate at night could have resulted in my kidnapping and murder - it's a scary thought. Now they're telling me they won't refund my money because I didn't wait at...

”was disappointed that we booked a non-smoking room and received a smoking one - struggled to sleep as the smell was lingering . apart from this it was a fine stay.”

”i was not accepted as the HOTELS >COM did not give. Confirmation of my stay and it costed me my air time wich was not professional to finally after 1 hour i managed to confirmation at the hotel.”

”The photo and naming of "spa" was deceitful. The building in the photo is there and is beautiful, but my room was not in that building it was in the building next door. There was nobody there during arrival. I was let in by the owner's husband who happened to be passing by. When I decided that I could not stay in the room and needed to leave there was nobody in reception and also nobody answered my calls. Since I was not issued a remote control to open the gate, I had to go to another room...
