”This hostel was the worst I've ever been to. When we first got there, after it took the tuktuk driver 45 min to find the place, there was a dead cockroach waiting for us on the floor. The room was very untidy, the whole hostel was, and it smelled awful there. We didn't get towels like we were supposed to. The bathrooms and showers were not that bad but you could tell that nobody cleaned them for the two nights we stayed. The staff was ok, one guy helped us to find a place to eat and was polite.”

”When i went to the Hotel, i was informed that all rooms are full, even though i have booked the room thru Expedia. Soni had to find another place to stat with my family.”

”On a adoré notre séjour à Anam Hôtel ! On y a passé 10 jours. On a pu se reposer. L’hôtel se situe à quelques mètres de la plage, où on peut y voir des magnifiques coucher de soleil le soir. Le personnel de l’hôtel est juste super super gentil. Il y a une cuisine que l’on peut utiliser, mais aussi une machine à laver dont on peut se servir. Allez-y les yeux fermés, vous ne regretterez rien.”

”Breakfast was included in to the price, but the kitchen was under reparation. They gave me 300 rupia as discount. Room was clean and tidy, fan good, walls very thin, excellent location if you travel by bus or train.”

”It wasn’t good. We arrived late to nobody being around. We had to ask for facilities to cook and for the Wi-Fi, which didn’t work very well. The room wasn’t clean, with us finding hairs in the sheets the bathroom constantly smelling. I reckon once, it was brilliant but now it’s rubbish. Not even in a good location. ”

”Here is only one positive thing about this hostel is rooftop restaurant and amazing guys and ladies who work there. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND TO BOOK THIS HOSTEL. And you don’t have to be the hostel’s guest to be able to visit this cool rooftop. Everyone is welcome. I had a private room which was located on first (=ground floor). ”At the time of my booking, this hotel was not actually completed. I went to the address indicated, only to find that there's no sign or evidence of any hostel at all. I called the number provided on my booking, to find that it linked to a hotel under the same owner several miles away. While they honored my booking, I really would have expected a refund or more from them. ”

”I think the staff was so kind and they really take their guests seriously. they greeted me with tea upon arrival, which was nice. later they arranged a car transfer to me even at short notice for a reasonable price. ”Das Lazy Koala ist ein wunderbares, kleines Hotel etwas weg vom Trubel. Die Restaurants-, Bar- und Einkaufsmeile ist aber schnell erreichbar. Ein Tuktuk empfiehlt sich aber. Im Hotel sind die Zimmer wunderbar, wir hatten eines mit Balkon mit Blick aufs Meer. Das Bett war sehr bequem, das Bad sehr gut.
