”This hostel was the worst I've ever been to. When we first got there, after it took the tuktuk driver 45 min to find the place, there was a dead cockroach waiting for us on the floor. The room was very untidy, the whole hostel was, and it smelled awful there. We didn't get towels like we were supposed to. The bathrooms and showers were not that bad but you could tell that nobody cleaned them for the two nights we stayed. The staff was ok, one guy helped us to find a place to eat and was polite.”

”Hotel a 3 km de la ville, assez éloigné sans service a proximité. Safari trés cher. J'avais résérvé une chambre mais a mon arrivée il n'y en avait pas alors on m'a proposé le dortoir au meme tarif se que j'ai refusé et aprés discussion j'ai obtenu une tente-chambre. Trés bien dans la grosse savane mais prés de la grande route pas nécessaire du tout. Personnel serviable mais on sans que l'argent et le but premier du centre. ”

”This is a tiny gem, don't expect any luxuries but it is well worth a stay if you are in the Yala area for a safari. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and accomodate your every need. Special thanks to Pravin, he is just seventeen at the time I'm writing this, speaks just a little english but was smart enough to whip out the translate app on his phone and we had fun communcating back and forth on that!”

”On a adoré notre séjour à Anam Hôtel ! On y a passé 10 jours. On a pu se reposer. L’hôtel se situe à quelques mètres de la plage, où on peut y voir des magnifiques coucher de soleil le soir. Le personnel de l’hôtel est juste super super gentil. Il y a une cuisine que l’on peut utiliser, mais aussi une machine à laver dont on peut se servir. Allez-y les yeux fermés, vous ne regretterez rien.”

”The pictures are not a true reflection of this property. It has the potential to be a very lovely hotel but it is run down and falling apart. The rooms were dirty especially the bathroom. There wasn't a mosquito net for the bed. Service for breakfast was very slow. The pool looks like it needs a good clean. I couldn't even get into it. ”

”I enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are basic but clean. The man working here is fantastic! He helped me plan my bus route to Tissa, showed me how to get to certain places in Negombo, provided me with an umbrella to shade myself ruin the intense sun while walking around, etc. it's a 2min walk to the bus station as well ”
