”We really enjoyed our 2 night stay, rooms were spacious and nicely appointed. We enjoyed the pool and the safaris organized by the lodge, who supplies rangers in addition to drivers in the safari vehicles. We opted to add an optional safari to increase our chances of seeing the elephants and leopards. Excellent staff, Sasha was very helpful, Venura in the restaurant was great and so was our Ranger Amida. ”

”All staff members are so kind and friendly. Every service was perfect and comfortable for me from the checking in to checking out. We booked the hotel very last minutes, but the staff helped me for the meal arrangement and the safari arrangement smoothly so there was no inconvenience and negative comments for the stay! I’d like to come and visit here again. ”

”From start to finish the staff made our trip perfect. Incredibly friendly, attentive, always looking to do something a little extra to make your stay unforgettable. Incredible food and accommodation (with hot running water and full comfort!) in a romantic setting surrounded by nature, private safaris in stunning Yala National Park led by guides who are passionate about the animals in the park - we saw countless birds, water buffalo, lizards, a wild boar family, even a sloth bear!”

”Overall a cool experience, we stayed in the sky nest. It is important to know that the road getting to resort is very very rough, essentially off-roading in a jeep, maybe even worse than safari. I wouldn’t recommend older adults or young children or anyone with a disability. The resort had kind staff, great evening bbq and early morning safari packed breakfast. Our only negative was that the safari guide booked through them was not good, of note he was not their usual safari guide on staff. We...

”First - this is a camp with tents so you cannot expect hotel level amenities. Unless you have been camping before it may be dirty and discusting. If you have been camping you probably will find this quite luxurious, clean and working. The tents are relatively big and have working toilets and showers. They are clean - considering they are in a "jungle" or at least in rural woods. We had a few scorpions (tiny) and lizards accompanying us, but they are not dangerous. The staff was really friendly...

”I am not sure that it exist. We could not find it. The guideline was wrong. No one answered the telephone. We contacted Hotels.com. They could not get in touch with Yala Wilderness Safari Camp. They tried to cancel it for us, but Yala Wilderness could not care and invoiced us anyway. Stay away from this accommandation. Hotels.com should not include them, with such a non-existing guideline to find the location and when they don´t answer their phones, then what should on do ?”

”We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. The food is excellent and plentiful. Arun was delightful...

”På ingen måder pengene værd. “Luksusteltet” var. Meget slidt, der lugtede meget grimt. Der kom en tynd stråle koldt vand ud af bruseren, ingen toiletartikler. Maden var det kedeligste vi har fået på alle 3 uger. Vi så en elefant, et par vandbøfler og en ugle på en 7-timers Safari. (I Yale nationalpark så vi Bjørn, 2 leoparder, elefanter, masser af vandbøfler og en krokodille på 3 timer) Alt i alt spild af penge!”
