”The cocoon-shaped tents are really unique and beautiful. They’re well-designed and blend nicely with the natural surroundings. Inside, you have everything you need – a big bed, air-conditioning, a beautiful bathtub, and stylish furniture. Some parts of the tents do feel a little old and could use a bit of renovation, but that didn’t affect how much I enjoyed my stay. It still felt special and very comfortable. ”First - this is a camp with tents so you cannot expect hotel level amenities. Unless you have been camping before it may be dirty and discusting. If you have been camping you probably will find this quite luxurious, clean and working. The tents are relatively big and have working toilets and showers. They are clean - considering they are in a "jungle" or at least in rural woods. We had a few scorpions (tiny) and lizards accompanying us, but they are not dangerous. The staff was really friendly...

”A special place close to Yala that makes you feel like you’re in the park. Small staff was so friendly and lovely, and I felt well taken care of. Delicious meals—often candlelit and with an outdoor grill. Room was air conditioned and well appointed, despite the jungle setting. Only caution: there probably will be some wildlife in your bathroom! They also organized my safaris in the park, as well as pick ups and drop-offs, which I appreciated.”

”Absolutely beautiful property. Right on the beach with easy access. Hanuman langur monkeys were right outside the room. They were so cute! Room had poor lighting, but everything else was perfect! Hotel next door has a superb buffet- best i have ever eaten in terms of variety! Access road was bad and there was no place for our driver to stay so he had to find his own lodging.”

”Leopard Trails is a fabulous rustic luxury camp in the beautiful Wilpattu Park. This was one of our favorite stays in all of Sri Lanka! The Naturalist guide who took us on safari was attentive, knowledgable, and a genuinely great guy. Back at camp, the rooms were comfortable and the private dining candle lit dinners were magically romantic. I recommend the suite with the plunge pool, it was bliss after a hot and dusty drive on safari. Do not miss the opportunity to visit this special place! ”

”We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. The food is excellent and plentiful. Arun was delightful...

”This was one of the highlights of my month long travels in Sri Lanka. The resort is absolutely beautiful, the glamping tents are stunning and the host can’t do enough for you. The traditional food served was some of the best I have eaten in Sri Lanka and the attention to detail with service was unmatched. 10/10 recommend for a quiet getaway amongst nature. ”

"Ketjun hotelli parhaasta päästä. Upeat maisemat, kauniit huoneet ja erinomainen palvelu. Aamiainen, oikeammin brunssi, oli todella runsas. Kävelymatkan päässä iso ostoskeskus, rantabulevardi, ShangriLan ravintolat jne. Allasalue ei aivan yllä muun hotellin tasoon, mutta sekin oli kuitenkin ok ja tilaa oli. Kaikenkaikkiaan erinomainen hinta-laatusuhde."

Wonderful room

"I had three nights in superior room with partial sea view, and it was really spacious and had a nice balcony. Room itself was 10/10. Rooftop pool and bar is nice, but during evening it might be very full. Only minus for housekeeping, which wasn't easy to have. Finally in the evening 7pm I got someone knocking my door if I needed something and finally they took my dishes from room breakfast. Service at reception was great, and I was welcomed to spend there time after check out before midnight flight."

Check inn took almost 2 hours

"The check in took us almost 2 hours!! We had to wait on the line standing and it took a big amount of time of our staying this hotel. Super bad service!! Also it took very long to get our luggage to our room so we had to ho back and get those ourselves. The staff was only looking for parade outside the hotel. "
