”We were very disappointed on entering the holiday cottage to find that cleaning had not been carried out to the standard we would have expected of a holiday let. There were breadcrumbs in the cutlery drawer, mouse droppings on top of the dishwasher which was also partly full of dirty water, a breadboard were covered in dust fluff. There was, what we believe to be, pizza stuck on the walls of the bathroom and bed sheets had hair on them, the blind in one of the bedrooms would not pull more than...

”We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and comfortable. The best part is that it is located next to central part of town and everything is walkable. Great restaurants and pubs nearby and close to all the sites and walkable to even the Old Course.”

”The Westportlea property was fantastic overall with a great location and all the amenities we needed. From the ease at check-in to the setup of the property, we enjoyed our stay. This little gem is located in a great spot with access to restaurants, bars and shopping. We just had a great time as it was a quiet area with everything our family needed. Recommend this property for sure! ”

”Rental too far from center of town. Need a vehicle to get to town, or a very long walk.The frig leaked water on the kitchen floor. The fire/smoke alarms went off a couple of times during stay, but the last evening they went off three times, the last time at 12:45 A. M. Very annoying.”

”If you want to explore Edinburgh this is a really great location. While compact, we were comfortable as a family of 5, and the kitchen was very well stocked, with some lovely personal touches. Station and supermarket both an easy walk. Very nice.”
