This review is very hurtful and absolutely false. We are very proud of our cleaning crew, and the meticulous care we've taken of our property. Our cleaning crew is a family who are close personal friends, very trustworthy and honorable, and have done a great job for many years, as attested by many guests. Since covid, cleaning practices were dramatically enhanced, and considerably more time and money is spent with each cleaning. Every surface is cleaned with disinfectant between each guest stay. All bedding is washed on high heat. All the cleaning products are on display in the house. The list of cleaning protocols is too long to list here, but is on display at the property. No one has ever smoked in the house. There are signs posted that there is a fine for smoking in the house. The surfaces they claim had mold are literally cleaned with disinfectant between every guest stay. Their complaints are simply false. For example, one picture that these people sent us was something that appeared to have spots on it, and was difficult to identify. The cleaners upon returning to the house figured out the picture was taken looking down in to the top of a lampshade, and the spots were part of the lamp material, not dirt. They would have had to stand on the bed to take this picture. Although this took place on a Sunday, and the cleaners had already had to rearrange their church schedule to clean that day, they offered to drive across town to assist. But these guests said they wanted to cancel the reservation, but then refused to leave immediately, and ransacked the house and dirtied all the beds first. This is a beach house, and it was our lifelong dream. It is just as shown in the pictures, and described by many guests. We love the property very much, and take great delight in sharing it with all the guests who love it, and tell us so. These people did not even stay at our house, and should not have been allowed to make an insulting review. Here is a quote from the review immediately preceding this one. "The Beach House is very cozy, spacious, and was SUPER CLEAN for checkin."
