2. The Waterwheel Inn

St Austell

”The Waterwheel Inn was exceptional. We had a garden suite which opened straight out onto the amazing gardens and a small double room. Both were decorated nicely and kept clean. Breakfast was served in the lovely conservatory and was excellent with good choices and nice touches like home-made jams and granola. We ate in the restaurant for dinner several times and had great food every time. Staff were helpful whilst being unobtrusive. Our only suggestion is to advertise the vegan options better as...

8. Harbour Hotel Fowey

Fowey

”We had a nice clean and modern room which gave us plenty of room. The staff were very helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble. We were there to celebrate our golden wedding anniversary so would have liked a sea view room but we couldn’t run to the expenditure of that. Maybe another time. Breakfast was also perfect. We will definitely go to Fowey again as the views over the river was amazing. Thankyou for making our break so enjoyable.”

10. Pochin House Collections

St Austell

”The rooms are quite dated, the majority of the pictures shown are for the first floor rooms while the ground floor rooms are lot more dated and feel like the disparity is quite big. The room itself has two bathrooms and the ensuite had a very foul smell when we first entered and the second bathroom had a damp odour to it. The ensuite smell went away after the first night, but the second bathroom smells got worse over time as the ventilator was not working which we mentioned to the property...

16. Miners Cottage

St Austell

”We had a fantastic stay at Miners Cottage for one night while attending the Eden Sessions. It was absolutely perfect for the four of us. The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were greeted with a lovely welcome food hamper, which was a really thoughtful touch and much appreciated. Communication with our hosts was excellent from start to finish, making everything easy and stress-free. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here...
