”We had a family wedding in the area and gathered 3 couples with a few kids comfortably here. House was stocked with anything you'd need. We made a big breakfast and relaxed with morning coffee. Stayed indoors due to a busy mosquito season but enjoyed games and drinks both nights. Loved the big windows! Beds were comfortable and we all slept great. Owner was easy to communicate with.”

”My friends and I stayed at this cabin for my bachelorette weekend. It was beyond perfect in every way. The host, Erin, was responsive and friendly. The check-in process was very easy. There was a house manual that explained the house and how everything works, which was helpful! There were little details in the cabin that made the stay even better. One of the favorite rooms of ours was the theater room. So many movies to choose from and a couch to fit everyone. The one thing we were worried...

”For a long weekend in the area, this was a great place for my wife and I, two of our adult sons and our dog. The house was clean and comfortable and just off a nice park trail for our pup. Kitchen supplies (spices and oils) were somewhat limited, so bring your own if you intend to cook. Pots and pans were adequate. Host supplied Keurig cup coffee.”

”We had a great time at the lodge on Rush Lake. The house is spacious and well cared for. There is plenty of room to spread out. It was very clean and well stocked when we arrived. This house was built by my great grandparents and was my dad's childhoom home. We spent most of the time looking at old photos and hearing stories about the property (which was a resort and farm that included the twin barns) and what the area was like back in the day. It's nice to see the property is restored and well...

The house itself was clean and spacious—everyone (two couples, two singles) had their own space if they needed a minute to themselves. The details—from ample linens and phone chargers in every room to the coffee maker and French press to the board games—were immaculate. I fully recommend The Gables for a getaway!”
