”There was no ice bucket in the room to get ice. Breakfast is advertised as grab & go so I suggest you peel the boiled eggs. That's hard to do if you're on the go. There were plenty of towels in the room. I suggest you have some information available in the room about local places to eat and visit. I appreciate the shampoo and body wash mounted on the wall in the shower.”

”The room was big and had a king bed and for a bit over $400 a week I can't complain much. The good:The location is great, next to many restaurants and retailers, a theatre and bowling alley. Room was clean. They take trash out and change towels every morning. They sweep when requested and bedding on request. The bads: the ice machine is broke. The parking lot is rough. Loud music and marijuana use every evening from other tenants in the parking lot. Our plug went out to our fridge and...

”Had an eschew with the toilet call the front dest they where down there less than 3 min fixed it right up. Very very nice owner. Help us in a lot of ways. We had an emergency had to leave early they did not hesitate gave us our money back. That’s what good people do. I would say Good place to stay. If any things wrong call the dest and he will make it right. Give it a 9 out of 10 Thanks for Ty gee understanding. Family place for sure.”

”The property was absolutely amazing. Loved everything about it. And being right in the center of town was a nice feature. The staff was unbelievably kind and nice and generous. Having the restaurant downstairs was so convenient as well as the gift shop. However, the parking was a little bit tricky cause it’s street parking that is metered. But other than that, We’ll definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.”

”There needs to be some improvements in the physical environment. Ceiling in the bedroom was peeling and upholstered chair and desk chair wear very worn.”

”older hotel, slightly unkept, Breakfast was minimal but the staff was amazing hosting our softball team. Although some rooms didn’t have working AC units or missing microwave or refrigerators”

”The basic concept was Fair, at Best. The beds were uncomfortable, the bath linens were dingy, from repeated use. The bathroom was outdated, bad wall paper hanging, as well as terrible caulk repairs. The “complimentary breakfast” was again Fair. Small breakfast nook, food okay. Hotel isn’t crowded, therefore breakfast food isn’t Fresh.”

”This is a nice resort for Northern Alabama. Has everything you need and is close by a bunch of good places to eat. The view of the dam is pretty good. The food and atmosphere at the in hotel restaurant is good.”

”Check in was quick and easy. After having trouble with my room key card we figured out the door needed new batteries. Once the problem was fixed everything went smooth. Loni at the front desk was amazing! She helped us with the key card problem and suggested several places for food and fun.”
