”We loved our stay at Laluna. The only thing I would say is, we chose this particular resort in part because each room had a private plunge pool. We unfortunately only used ours once, and because we felt that we should. It's located in the front of your room, right along the walking path that others take. ”The hotel is quite well located not too far away from everything. Room had about everything basics you need. Steep walking uphill, would be good to get some kind of golf cart for transportation up maybe. :) Room had only one small trash can. You cannot smoke there and the hotel restaurant doesn't have any alcohol. ”

”The hotel had a great location literally on the Grand Anse Beach, across the road from a mall, supermarket and KFC. However I booked double beds and got one king size. The food was average and the room dated. There was also no charging port for 2 pronged chargers. I had a good massage. It was my 40th birthday and while I got a cake it was a goof thing I walked with my own candles. ”

”Pool area great, wifi great. But only hot water in the shower. No housekeeping (asked for clean shower towels after 6 days of 8 day stay.) Not great amenities in kitchen. No wash cloths, dish cloths. Ocean view would be possible if it wasn’t blocked by parking lot. Issues with plumbing that gurgled spontaneously from both sinks. ”Our room was cleaned daily by a committed housekeeping staff. Lorene & Ingrid were exceptional, warm and friendly. They were limited by the lack of resources. Gem is conveniently located on a beach, however the rooms are showing their age and it is clear that management has not invested in updating the room in a very long time. ”Room was not ready at 5p. Suite w 2 bedrooms and i was a single so they only cleaned one room, give me one towel and no tiolet paper. They pre-arranged taxi for 6a pickup. No show so they kindly called someone else who came right away. The car didnt appear to be a taxi due to the junk in the car but at least i got to airport”

Chicken at the lunch buffet was served with feathers on it. Staff appeared to be nonchalant about issues raised.
