”Lovely stay all around”

”Mary the owner, hangs out a little but basically 9am -10:30am and is done for the day. The only other staff is a woman that speaks no English”

”Beautiful rustic property. Great for family gatherings with large kitchen and open layout. It’s very close to St. Helena downtown where you could walk ~10 mins and even right across the street from Beringer. The Host was very responsive when we were checking in and helped us resolve our user-error quickly. Our family enjoyed our brief time here, and we would consider coming back for another reunion in the future.”

”This location is very far removed from St. Helena (25min) even though the address states St. Helena. It’s an old and rather rundown farm. The hostess was rude when I tried to cancel after finding out by a colleague that this was not an ideal place since I was traveling alone and the location has no internet, cellphone signal and it’s really in the middle of nowhere. Since the hostess did not allow me to cancel past her 30 day cancellation policy, I had no option but go. Oh yeah, after she hung...

”Friendly folks who give you a big breakfast in the morning. There's no A/C, but you can plug a surprisingly fast ice machine in for a cold drink, and really the ceiling fans are enough. The power went out (PG&E, ugh) but it came back in about an hour. It is a rare occurrence so I guess we got lucky. They gave us some lights just in case.The only thing that did bother me was the broken screens. The screens on the doors seem off the rails, and the window above our bed had a bent screen with a wasp...

”We had a lovely stay! Breakfast was great (especially the other morning when there was warm breakfast). Staff was super nice and helpful. Loved the small pool and cookies in the afternoon. Room was comfortable.”

”We brought our electric bikes and they had a secure storage place on site. The Napavine trail is so beautiful. We loved the steam room. And the hot mineral water and then the larger cooler pool were very enjoyable as well. We are senior citizens on a budget. And this was a lovely room overlooking the trees changing color from our balcony. A clean lovely room. And a walking distance to enjoy Main Street in Calistoga. A wonderful bookstore is there.”
