Staff in the office didn’t know how to check in guests or how to adequately address any issues. Management not onsite very often. I was double charged and it took 5 days to get a refund back to my debit card. The girl at the desk offered little assistance other than to say I can’t help, they definitely need customer service training. I also told the girl in office my room wasn’t being cleaned and she ignored my comments. I spent most of my vacation trying to get my money back. We were there 4 nights, cleaning staff was around each day, But our room which was out of TP, conditioner bottle was broken the entire stay, and full of trash, the room was only cleaned once, because I flagged them down in the hallway. The restaurant food was good, staff were friendly, service was extremely slow. The indoor pool was full of sand, hot tub was extremely hot and filled with young children. Overall this resort has potential but after my experience, I can’t recommend it until the staff starts taking more interest in their guests and works on “acceptable”, customer service. Even if you can’t immediately address a guest issue, you should at least offer to try. It would have gone a long way. Overall very disappointed.
