The space was nice and open with a balcony in the front and the back. Beach chairs and towels and a cooler were provided (though the property does not have beach access). Parking was easy enough … for St. John; such steep hills!

We had a great stay at the SVS villa in St john in Cruz Bay.Our highlight was the amazing balcony and wildlife we saw from it relaxing. The house is great and has all the things one would need for a short stay. The only thing I would recommend the host is not to ask the guest to take their trash with them since if the cleaning team does come, can they not take the trash bags and dump them in the island dumpster near the ferry terminal. Pro tip- only use GPS based coordinates from host. Do not trust the Google maps address.

We were very comfortable here. Everyone we interacted with was responsive & nice. (You all know who you are! Thank you M, T & S.) The unit was clean & the kitchen had all that was needed. The driveway was a bit hard to maneuver, as are most on St. John due to the hills. As a sidebar, I believe "tourists & hotels" should pay an environmental fee of some sort, to help remove garbage from this special island.

This place has everything and was much bigger than anticipated. 2 large balconies, enjoyed hanging out at night listening to the frogs and the many iguanas that hang out at the top of the trees in the morning. Everything is included for your stay including beach chairs/coolers and a hose for washing sand off. Even included sunscreen.To help the next person use maps and put SSV Air-b-n-b as the directions. The driveway is steep but we managed with a compact car. Another note there are 2 TV's but you need to bring your own login for apps. Place exceeded our expectations would recommend!

I checked into a house full of pleasant surprises. With its brand-new furnishings and spotlessly clean corners, coupled with just the right amount of tranquility, it instantly melted away all the weariness from my journey. The house exudes local cultural charm everywhere, allowing you to stumble upon little delights by chance. What’s more, the housekeeper is kind and lovely—a warm greeting from them adds a healing touch to this wonderful stay. I hope the address can be more clearly.

Looking across the treetops

We really enjoyed our stay - from the balcony, there was a wonderful view of the tops of the trees that covered the valley behind the house. We would watch iguanas eating tropical flowers on the treetops and parakeets flying back and forth. The interior was great too, with a great kitchen and comfortable furnishings.

We very much enjoyed our stay here! The property itself was very clean, spacious, and beautiful. The unit included all of the little things needed, from beach towels/chairs/coolers to shampoo and conditioner, and even a clothes steamer! There was a guide book that was very helpful for instructions for the unit and recommendations for the town. We enjoyed many evenings on both balconies, soaking in the beautiful views. Communication with the host was always quick and easy and the directions provided to get to the unit were clear and perfect. Personally, I would say the unit would be just out of walking distance from the town but that was no big deal for us since we rented a car. I would 10/10 recommend this unit to anyone and would definitely stay here again!

The host lacked communication with the renter. They did not call, text, or email us. We had no idea how to get to the property. We almost took the ferry back to St. Thomas and would have disputed the night we rented. Thank goodness the nearby hotel helped us contact the host.

Great unit with nice balcony

We stayed here as a family with two teenagers. The unit was great and we especially loved the balcony with iguana viewing in the mornings. The queen bed was really comfy and our teens slept on the pullout sofa and had no complaints. The only thing we didn’t love is that the bathroom has a partially open ceiling, making for less sound privacy than one would like. But everything else in the unit was fantastic.

Great guest house!

Had a fantastic time in St John! We would recommend renting a Jeep. The host provided lots of recommendations for beaches, parking, and restaurants. Communication was always very prompt. 10/10

Nice apartment

We loved this apartment. It was very spacious for the 2 of us and has a couple of nice outdoor seating areas. The power did go out our first night for a couple of hours, but someone brought us a lantern which was super nice! The only downside is we had trouble getting the check in and out instructions and I had to message the host to have them sent to me. But outside of that it was a lovely stay!
