”Literally the cutest little place!!! The back area has a little seating area with rocking chairs and a hammock and some nice cabanas for relaxing. The front check in area was very clean and it did not have that weird overly perfumed smell that a lot of independent hotels have. The room we stayed in was very nice and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. The beach was directly across the street but it was late when we got in so i can't really review it. ”Great value compared to hotels in the historic district. Rooms are spacious, bathrooms are pretty and the ac work great. It’s nice to be a little out of the heart of the historic district. The common areas were clean and modern. The only area for improvement I saw was the breakfast, but that’s not a deal breaker.”

”Absolutely LOVE the mattress they use!!! It cradles You with softness and comfort! The bathroom could use some updating and a better cleaning. The room Hadn’t been dusted, there was a film and I sneezed a lot because of that. I did go to the desk to ask them to clean the tub so we could shower and they sent someone immediately. All in all, the stay was an 8, great value, morning staff was very nice. Breakfast was fresh and hot. Would recommend and would stay again.”

”The property is a bit outdated, and the location didn’t make us feel very safe. Late at night, someone above us started setting off fireworks. It was extremely loud, and honestly, I was too uncomfortable to even ask them to stop—I just waited for it to end. Overall, the room was clean, and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, we missed breakfast because it ended at 9:00 AM. It’s fine for a one-night stay, but personally, I wouldn’t choose to stay here with children.”

”Our stay, for 4 nights, was excellent. Our room was spotless, the view from the 3rd floor was beautiful. Food from the Bistro let us eat out without going out. The food was great. The best thing was the staff. They are all professional and courteous. I would expect that. In addition, there is an attitude of niceness, welcome, and a true wish to help. In EVERY staff member we saw. Colum (I may misspell his name) greeted us first and explained the amenities in addition to our room. He’s great and...

”Well-maintained and clean. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Sue at front desk was very helpful at checkin. Woman (didn’t get her name) was friendly. Beautiful area, not in the midst of historic area but a short walk across Bridge of Lions or drive to parking areas.”

”Nothing fancy but a good hotel for a weekend. Clean pool, nice breakfast. Pets allowed but mostly quiet. Front desk staff helpful and polite. I would stay again.”

”The room was clean. Breakfast was great with different options to choose from. They have a gym which we went to. It’s well equipped. The pool area is big and has lots of chairs to lay down. There’s a market across the street which is very convenient and few restaurants. I would stay here again.”

”We stayed at Smart Stay Inn over the 4th of July weekend. The staff was very courteous and very helpful. We spoke with the front desk manager twice and both times they went over and beyond to assist us. The room was clean and spacious. Housekeeping came in each day to freshen the room up and add new towels and toiletries. The complimentary breakfast is the only negative I have with this stay. Although they replenished the trays of food, the hot food was consistently cold and not enjoyable. I...
