”Boyd Pond is really more of a private lake. It’s a nice size… big enough to explore and it never felt crowded. It was small enough that we felt safe letting our teen boys boat by themselves. There is not much to do in the immediate vicinity, bye nearby towns are very small and you need to drive around 30min to get to a grocery store, ice cream etc. We did take a day trip to Wescott Park and spent the day on the beach on Lake Ontario and highly recommend that. The lack of tourist offerings...

”We also run a vacation property, so our standards are probably slightly higher than most. This place had everything we needed and more. It was adorable, well stocked and the owner and his crew were constantly up-keeping it, even going as far as keeping the mosquitoes at bay. I would definitely rent it again if I come back to the area! We loved the location as well. Thank you!”

”This family of three thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The cabin is surrounded by trees with a beautiful view of the St. Regis river which you can hear throughout the cabin. There are lovely hiking trails around the property (I believe about 4 miles of trails). The cabin is cozy and warm. The weather for our stay was a bit too chilly to enjoy the screened in porch but I imagine in warmer weather it would be a lovely place to sit. ”We really loved the setting of the cabin. Boyd Pond is beautiful! We loved seeing critters outside, like geese and loons on the water. We made breakfasts in the kitchen and spent a lot of time looking out over the water both from the table and sitting on the deck. It was nice to watch TV at night and have a space of our own. ”

”We loved our long weekend at Autumn Lake. Even though the weather wasn't ideal, the house itself was perfect for cozying up and playing board games as a large group. We made it out on the lake and enjoyed how peaceful it was. Beds were comfy, plenty of space for multiple couples, close to basic groceries just down the road. We didn't try fishing but saw some families enjoying it. Highly recommend! Would stay again.”
