Very clean, felt safe in the neighborhood, amenities were great! Only thing I would suggest is optional room darkening curtains for the bedroom. The current curtain would not block out all light. But that’s just a personal preference. Overall amazing and would definitely stay again!

Spacious one bedroom in a cute neighborhood with lots of restaurants close by. The beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. Just need to get that bathroom fan dusted ;)

I felt at home immediately! Literally every amenity was thought of from olive oil and garlic powder to make-up wipes and Bath and Body shower gel.The house was beautifully decorated and all the wonderful information on the guide book was top notch. I really enjoyed the neighborhood. Having lived in the STL metro 5 years before need to stay here. I always love learning about parts of STL and South CITY STL residence are a class unto themselves. The house was conveniently located to Gravois Ave. where you can find absolutely everything. The house is literally withing 5 miles of at least 2 large grocery stores and then things like QT Gas Station and Dollar General. I never had an issue with parking. The keyless lock and security system made me feel very safe. There was a tornado while I was there….my mom (new to the mid-west) was freaking out but I was able to keep her calm and remind her the house is over 100 years old and we were in the basement and going to be fine.Speaking of my mom….I was there to recuperate for a producer she was there to take care of me…not very techy…I was way too weak to be bothered with the fact that she couldn’t get the TV to work. But the host stayed on the phone with her until he helped her figure it out. Enjoyed my time there and would stay again.

The house is really well decorated with antique pieces pertaining to the 1904 world's fair in a cleverly updated 100-year-old house. It has all the modern amenities that people desire while giving the illusion of living in a different era with easy access to all things fun about this interesting city. Toni and his wife provided a wealth of historic information about the world's fair plus current events and sites of interest. So, savor the flavor of this special house and unique city.

My wife and I had a superb two night stay here. Zero complaints. Easy parking, great location, and check in/out was a breeze. House is well kept and has all the amenities one could ask for. Shaved Duck is literally a block away and has a quaint bar and some of the best BBQ in STL.

We had to book our stay will just a few weeks notice, and had to make an additional change to our booking when we faced some unforeseen circumstances. The owners were very accommodating, provided clear instructions and communication about the property.

Would totally stay there again. I attended a party at a restaurant nearby in the new year eve and did not wanted to drive back home after drinking, once I live about 35 minutes away. It was a great stay, the place is organized & clean. Very beautiful and well taken care.

I travelled with my sister so having more than 1 bed was ideal. She used the sleeper sofa and it was very nice.Home had everything we needed for a weekend getaway.We were never far from anywhere we wanted to go in and around St. Louis.Would stay here again!

We were quite comfortable during our stay, with all the comforts and conveniences of home at our disposal. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt quite safe in our comings and goings to local attractions. The many items of 1904 World's Fair memorabilia added greatly to the enjoyment of our visit!

Our flight was delayed so we arrived very late to the property but the neighborhood seemed safe at that late hour. The house was well appointed and we got a good night's sleep since it was nice & quiet. Tony was very responsive to a question we had and we'd love to return when we have more time to explore. My family and I needed a place to stay while attending a nearby event, and this was perfect. The location was incredibly convenient, close to everywhere we needed to go. And the rental itself is in a beautiful part of the city. Everything was clean and in good order, we were very comfortable during our stay. The fold out beds are very comfortable and did not leave us feeling cramped in the space when they were folded out. We also needed to check in early and our host communicated with us through the whole process, and was very accommodating while also working within the schedule of the cleaner. Highly recommend!
