My girlfriend and I stayed at the Four Seasons St. Louis on June 21st, which was my birthday. What should have been a special and relaxing occasion turned into a very distressing experience.
While using the bathroom, my girlfriend fainted — primarily due to the dangerously deep and slippery bathtub design, which lacked proper anti-slip protection. She fell and hit her chin on the sharp corner of the table leg, causing bleeding and severe bruising that lasted for days. After returning home, we had to seek medical treatment and pay additional out-of-pocket expenses.
The hotel’s response was minimal — just a bandage and some ice. There was no professional medical assessment or follow-through on safety protocols. It’s now been nearly two months, and despite a brief voicemail from hotel security, we have received no clear follow-up, apology, or discussion of compensation or safety improvements.
This is absolutely unacceptable for a property under the Four Seasons brand. I am writing this review not just for accountability but also to warn other guests about the potential safety risks. We expected a standard of care and attention that was simply not there when it mattered most.
