Welcome to your stylish, modern retreat on historic Main Street in St. Charles! This recently renovated upstairs apartment is filled with character, from its exposed brick walls to a unique spiral staircase. Flooded with natural light, the space feels bright and welcoming from the moment you arrive.

Perfect for groups, the apartment comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests. The space features:

Old St. Chuck as I like to call it, is awesome. I worked on Old Main for 9 years. Business is now gone, but the charm of Old Main street remains. It has plenty of places to eat and drink, shop or just stroll around and enjoy the sights. The Apt. Was wonderful. Lots of steps, but not a problem. Balcony was awesome

This place was in the middle of everything. Do stay here if:1. You love an old building that is well updated.2. You want to be within walking distance of everything the historic area has to offer3. If you want a great space to overlook the Main Street while hanging and cooking on a grillDo not stay here if:1. You think it will be quiet2. We were unable to get in the rental for a bit until we figured out a check mark was needed after the door code. We texted the number for help but got no response. We also called as well. The Wednesday before Thanksgiving was impossible to sleep because of the bar scene and loud vehicles. The gym down below the unit wakes you up with weights being dropped on the floor. The heat never got the apartment warm. I suggest changing the downstairs mattress as well. The location on the river and proximity to restaurants and bars is nice.

Few things missing

1. Very little toilet paper plus no Kleenex 2. No trash bags 3. Coffee pot quit working on 2nd day 4. Sitting area rug a hazard at walk through area corner was a trip hazard 5. Lights at bottom of stairs are burned out making it difficult to walk up and down stairs 6. Lower bathtub had not been cleaned 7. All bathtubs did not have mats therefore slippery and hazard 8. Dirty sheets were still in the washing machine from previous occupants 9. One blowdryer for 3 bathrooms 10. Most light out at outside sitting area 11. Socks will turn dirty if you walk on the floor

Amazing location.

This is a perfect upstairs/downtown location for enjoying historic St. Charles. The top level bedroom space did have a broken ac unit when we arrived but the owner sent a crew out the next morning and they pit in a brand new unit so that problem should be taken care of. Beds are amazingly comfy on both levels.

Great Location

This property is exactly as represented in the photos. It’s beautifully redone with three full baths and a great kitchen. The parade balcony would be a spectacular place to sit if the weather was a little warmer than when we were there.

Great place, great location!

We really enjoyed our stay on historic Main Street. It's nice to be within walking distance of everything from shopping to coffee shops to restaurants and local pubs. It was a fun atmosphere, especially during the holiday season.

Fresh and clean

This apartment was so clean. It was very spacious and we really enjoyed the balcony. Expect to do stairs, but it was worth every step! The location allowed us to park the cars and walk to great restaurants, enjoy evening drinks and shop during the day. The property communication was very quick and positive. I know our families will return. We made great memories celebrating our 85 year old mother's birthday!

We had a wonderful stay at the VRBO. The apartment was clean, nicely decorated and the beds were comfortable, too! The balcony was a fun place to hang out. Great restaurants & shops are in walking distance which we really enjoyed. My family would definitely return to this VRBO the next time we visit St.Louis!

The pros Amazing Location, Clean, Spacious The cons Had issues with the opening of the door and received help via text. Finally left and ate, came back and was able to open the door. One of the bedrooms is located right above the speakers to a 24 hour gym. One night the music was so loud the police had to be called to finally have them turn it down. The gate on the property sticks, broken watch as proof. Although it is a very nice location I would not stay again. However, the second rental we booked with the same company on the same street was perfect.

This was a great place for us to stay. It was walkable to everywhere I wanted to be while in town. Also the beds were comfy and I appreciated having the washer and dryer. The staff was quick to respond to any questions.

We live locally and utilized the property for both an overnight stay as well as a company annual meeting. It's location in old St. Charles gave us access to great shopping and food.
