The Moonrise is a nice enough hotel to stay at with some unique features, such as the man made moon replica and the light up staircase. Other than that, though, it is pretty average. It is also geared more toward adults than families so if you have young kids, bear that in mind. Beds were fine, although one mattress in our Executive Queen is about due for replacement judging by the dips, and the room was large, nicely furnished, and cleaned when we arrived. The internet went out for almost a full 24 hours with no explanation and that means no tv in this hotel since they don't use an antenna. Not a huge deal but I like background noise while I get ready for the day, and as I drift off to sleep.
All the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and the location means I will likely stay here again when I visit family - but I will look for a better room rate than I got this time if possible.
