Olohuone
Kun tulet huvilan huomiosi on heti piirretty kaunis merinäköala katettu kuisti takana huvilan. Makuuhuoneessa on 2 erillistä vuodetta 90x200 cm laatikolla jousitettu joustava patja ja 2 yöpöytää. Tässä on myös vaatehuone, jossa on tallelokero.
4 muut tilavat huoneet ovat 2 erillistä vuodetta 80x200 cm, myös varustettu laatikko jousipala jousipatjat ja 2 yöpöydät. Kylpyhuoneissa on wc, suihku ja pesuallas, kuuma ja kylmä juokseva vesi. Jokaisessa kylpyhuoneessa on hiustenkuivaaja. Kaikki huoneet ovat tilavia, joissa on kaapit. Jokaisessa makuuhuoneessa on ilmastointi.

Puutarha ja aurinkoterassi
Puutarha ja aurinkoterassi pääsee portaikon läpi kuistilta kylän puolelta. Tilava makeanveden uima-allas sijaitsee kauniilla aurinkoterassilla. Tarjolla on runsaasti aurinkotuoleja ja rantapyyhkeitä terassilla. Jos etsit jäähdytystä, voit istua palapa varjossa. Alueen varrella on yli 3 m leveä uima-allas, jossa portaikko palapa asennettu. Palapassa on mukavat lepotuolit, ja niissä on sähköliitännät, joten voit liittää myös IPad- tai kannettavaa tietokonetta täällä. Puutarhan kerroksessa on 2 tilavaa makuuhuonetta, joissa molemmissa on 2 erillistä vuodetta 80 x 200 cm, jossa laatikossa jousitettu jousipatjat, yöpöydät ja kylpyhuone, jossa wc, suihku ja pesuallas. Näistä huoneista ja aurinkoterassilta on upeat näkymät Karibianmerelle ja uima-altaalle.
Yhdessä makuuhuoneessa on uima-allas jääkaappi, joten sinun ei tarvitse kävellä yläkertaan keittiölle kylmien juomien ja jääpalojen vuoksi. Uusi Weber BBQ löytyy myös uima-altaan lähellä.
Altaan altaassa on tilava, valaistu pesupaikka sukeltajille, jotta he voivat puhdistaa ja kuivata sukellusvarustuksensa.

Resort ja sen lähialue:
Villa Lions Cliff sijaitsee saaren lounaisrannikolla, josta löydät tarpeelliset kauniit rannat sukellusmahdollisuuksineen. Puistossa on brasserie / leipomo, wellness-keskus, sukelluskoulu, jossa voi vuokrata sukellusvälineitä, uima-allas lasten allas, aurinkoterassi ja vieressä oleva Koraal-ravintola. Host was great, very responsive to questions, provided lots of helpful information and addressed any concerns quickly.The kitchen is very well equipped, and the house is spacious. We were 7 adults, one child and an infant and never felt confined. The plunge pool was enjoyed by all.Great views all day long and some incredible sunsets! Close to 2 nice beaches, and a 30 minute drive back to the city. There are some nice restaurants in the area and a great little grocery store 15 minutes away.Highly recommend this rental and area! Thanks Loekie and Piet for making our family gathering so enjoyable.

Die Villa ist toll, v.a. der Blick aufs Meer und der Pool. Die Küche ist umfangreich ausgestattet, so dass man sich als Familie gut selbst versorgen kann. Die technischen Geräte (Spülmaschine, Herd, Ofen und Mikrowelle, Kühl- und Gefrierschrank sowie Waschmaschine und Trockner) haben einwandfrei funktioniert. An der ein oder anderen Stelle merkt man, dass die Einrichtung nicht mehr ganz neu ist.In den Schlafzimmern gibt es Klimaanlagen und Ventilatoren. Alle Fenster sind mit Moskitonetzen versehen. Über die offene Terrasse kommen aber sehr viele Mücken ins Haus. Deshalb ist Mückenspray sehr wichtig. Das Spray, das wir aus Deutschland mitgebracht haben, hat kaum geholfen. Deshalb haben wir im Supermarkt vor Ort eines gekauft, was gut gewirkt hat.Sehr praktisch ist der begehbare Kleiderschrank im Hauptschlafzimmer. Aber auch sonst gibt es genügend Schränke, um alles unterzubringen.Wir konnten uns Luftmatratzen und anderes Wasserspielzeug von Loekie und Piet ausleihen. Es sind zwei Kühlboxen vorhanden, was für den Einkauf sehr hilfreich war.Die Gastgeber, Loekie und Piet, waren - auch vorab - sehr hilfsbereit und bei Fragen und Problemen immer sofort da.Wenn man nicht nur im Resort bleiben möchte, dann muss man ca. 20 Minuten mit dem Auto fahren, um zum Supermarkt zu kommen. Zum Karakter-Strand mit Bäcker und Restaurant kann man von der Villa aus zwar laufen (in ca. 15 Minuten), bei der Hitze haben wir das aber nur einmal gemacht.Insgesamt war es eine tolle Reise.

Ahh the covered porch!

Fabulous communication and tips from the owners. The house was magnificent and perfectly located. All I really needed was the covered porch. Any waking hours were spent there. The air-conditioned bedrooms made for a peaceful sleep. The pool was also a family favorite.

Million Dollar View, Wonderful Hosts, Perfect Property, However....

Wonderful property in a gated community and in the perfect location. An international television package that allowed us to watch our local Ohio news and weather as well as great entertainment programs. The interior and exterior features of the house are perfect. The photos are accurate and represent this property well.However, only the bedrooms have air conditioning. The living area, a large space inclusive of the kitchen, dining, and living/ sitting room does not have air-conditioning. In the living area air flow is managed by leaving the front door and windows open allowing air flow (when there is airflow) through and to the large walk out area to the covered porch. There are no fans to promote air movement. We are a retired couple from Ohio in the US. The climate in Ohio can be Hot and Humid. We appreciate air-conditioning in the evening after a day of work or play. I have visited islands where air-conditioning may not be needed. This space needs climate control. Temperatures during our May visit touched 90 degrees daily.Host recommended a local car rental operator that included transport from airport to find our rental vehicle in the driveway of our VRBO property and return transport to the airport, leaving the rental car at the VRBO property. The cost was less than advertised rentals on the internet.The hosts are very nice and accessible. In fact, we were met upon arrival and as we left.Don't pass this property up if it meets your needs!!!!Rick & Alice

Comfortable, Easy, Stress-Free Week in Paradise

We had a terrific, one-week stay at Lion's Cliff. The villa is located in a gated resort community and we felt safe at all times. The resort is within 10-15 minutes of several beaches and restaurants (highly recommend the VIP Grill food truck, as well as Eetcafe De Buurvrouw!). From the first moment you walk in, you know exactly what you're getting. The views are incredible, and private pool makes it easy to skip a few planned activities in lieu of lazy days at the villa. The home was spacious, and fan air conditioning in the bedroom kept our nights comfortable. The internet connection was excellent, and the well-stocked kitchen was a great bonus (tip: make the 25 minute drive to stock up on groceries at Centrum on your first day). We used the BBQ for burgers and steaks often.Communication with Piet and Loekie was easy and pleasant; they are great hosts who are available for timely and helpful responses to any inquiries. They also kept us updated on any gardening or pool maintenance that would be coming during our stay. In addition to the core amenities, we also loved the smaller, perhaps unexpected comforts available to us, such as coolers to take to the beach, candles and sprays to ward off mosquitoes (which were fewer than expected in the first place), a modern fridge with water and ice dispenser, and a TV with access to hundreds of channels from various countries. We would highly recommend this to couples and groups looking for a stress-free getaway in paradise.

All you need and more!

Piet & Loecky are great hosts. They are very attentive and make your stay the very best it can be. The house itself is spacious and well equipped with everything you need including cookware, utensils and spices. A regular coffee maker, two nespresso machines, and all appliances you need, including blender. Oven/microwave takes a little getting used to. The water is of excellent quality right out of the tap. The air conditioning works very well (bedrooms only). We only used it at night in our rooms and this was enough for us as the breeze is quite nice most of the time. It is not possible to have air everywhere in the house as it is an "open air" dwelling. The pool, deck and view are lovely.I felt the location was great. It was 25 minutes drive from Willemsted and 25 or less from the wonderful beaches at the other end of the island. You are right in the middle-ish. Fave beaches were Cas Abao & Playa Kalki (Alice in Wonderland). It should also be noted that great snorkeling also happened at the Coral Estate (where the villa is located) water front as well. Centrum grocery is great. Carrefour Market is a little further away, but also very good selections. The Van den Tweel(?) Market at Jan Thiel beach was a good, quick stop, kinda like a whole foods "island style," but not my fave for overall selection. We drove all over the island. It is VERY easy to get around and felt very safe. Just use sense. Loved our stay. Will stay here again!

Spectacular

From the moment we arrived Piet and his wife, Loekie, were available to us for any of our villa needs. While there were a few issues when we arrived, the owners were already aware of them and working to quickly resolve. The location of the villa provides an awesome view of the ocean, we spent many days relaxing and watching cruise ships, tankers, and fishing boats. The sunset was something to behold every night. The electric shades on the porch provide much need respite from the late afternoon sun. Nearby beaches are beautiful and each one is unique in some way. The Coral Estates property is well cared for and provides restaurants, beach and security.We spent a month at this villa and by the time we left we felt like we were leaving a second home. The villa is comfortable and has everything needed to provide a family/friends base for exploring Curacao and creating the memories of a lifetime.If you are considering this villa for your next vacation my vote is YES!!

In love with Lions Cliff!

This house was perfect for our Christmas vacation! The pictures on the listing give an accurate description, although a picture will never do the view justice. It was clean, spacious, and we would stay there again if we get the opportunity! The owners are kind, super helpful, and very responsive. We weren’t sure about the location having not been to Curaçao before, but we found we preferred this location as opposed to being closer to Willemstad. It was very quiet, but had plenty to do at the resort, and there are multiple beaches nearby. You definitely need a car here, but you’ll want one anyway to explore the island.We can’t wait to go back!

My wife and I stayed at Lions Cliff for 2 weeks over Christmas break. We loved our stay. The villa is very well maintained, well stocked, and the hosts were wonderful! Highly recommend. We would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful getaway with great views

Loekie and Piet coordinated and tracked our flight arrival and were there to meet us at the property and provide a wonderful orientation - doing this even after our flight was six hours late. This orientation was so helpful there was no need to communicate or ask any questions during the stay. Loekie, knowing we were coming for a family Christmas gathering, even put up a Christmas tree and hung lights across the back patio. The property was beyond lovely - beautiful gardens, bird song all around, very (very) peaceful. Located in a neighborhood with a stellar beach and three restaurants so that you could stay put if you desire, or within easy distance to other restaurants, beaches and sites if you want to get out and explore. A car is needed to fully appreciate this location. We cooked a few meals at the villa, grilling down by the pool while watching the sun sink below the horizon, and we also ate out at several of the local restaurants. At night we'd just sit out on the back porch with all the lights off taking in the expansive view, watching the moonlight reflect off the water and the cruise ships and other cargo vessels slowly make their way back and forth. A highly recommended, quality property if you're looking for quiet, views, exploring, and peaceful gatherings with family or friends.

Beautiful vacation in lovely villa overlooking the sea!

Our group of five adults are just back after an amazing week at the beautiful Villa Lions Cliff in Coral Estates. The house is well stocked with all the essentials. Our hosts were friendly, responsive, and very helpful. The pool is amazing. The nearby beach, bar, & restaurant were beautiful & delicious. We are certainly coming back next year with the whole clan.

We had a great time. Piet and Lockie were great host. Access to resort restaurants were good and the view from the Villa was the best ever. Everything was included where you don't have to bring much other than your swimsuit. AC and fans in the rooms worked great since were from Az that has no humidity. I also liked that Piet checked on us to make sure we were good. Only change that i would add a ceiling fan in the great room to help with the nice breeze. We plan to revisit again for a longer time. Also, thanks for drive and Dive owner Uwe for having a car waiting for us, at the Villa, nice touch!!

Amazing Adventure

The Lion’s Cliff was an amazing location, safe area, clean, with breath taking ocean views. It was everything we wanted it to be. Close to beaches with fantastic snorkeling and swimming and yummy food close by.

Awesome house with stunning views.

From the initial contact, to the heartfelt Goodbye on our last day, the level of customer service of these property owners is just perfect. Questions were answered very quickly, and they were even able to help us out with our local car rental when a very unexpected flight delay in Miami (due to a swarm of killer bees) delayed us 4 hrs. The house is just awesome. We loved the open floor plan layout and airy feel with the screened louvre windows and doors. The kitchen had anything you need and there is also a washer, dryer, and clothes drying rack. The 180° views from the patio are stunning. We had fun identifying the various ships and boats that passed, using a marine app. We also used an app to identify the abundance of birds. The plunge pool is perfect for cooling off in and lounging at on one of the sun beds. It is in the sun for almost the whole day. There are also some pergolas for shade. Heads up: water and electric and not included and will be billed afterwards. Both are not cheap on the island, and it is understandable that renters have to pay for what they use. That also includes evaporating pool water, something we do not quickly think about in the States. Coral Estate is a bit of a drive from the main roads. The local driving style takes some getting used to as well as figuring out how and where to gas up. Our weeks stay was just superb, and we hope to return to Villa Lions Cliff in the near future, bringing our family.

Amazing stay

Villa was just as listed. Everything you needed was at the villa. Nice, quiet secure location. There is some construction happening on nearby villas but that didn’t bother us to much. They were usually done by 3pm. The pool was cleaned twice a week and the owners were readily accessible to answer any questions we had. Would definitely recommend and we can’t wait to return.

Honeymoon in Curaçao

Nice house. The house views are beautiful! However the house itself seems a little dated. Could use some updates. In one of the master bedroom one screen was closed poorly with paper tape. The wind continued to blow it open. We had to secure that to keep the bugs out. Also I would bring own linens. The linen in the bed is very hot and uncomfortable to us. Using the AC at night worked well for us since we were gone throughout the day! The Kitchen has everything you need for cooking. However, lots of ants in the kitchen. You couldn’t leave anything on the counter. Property manager was amazing and super sweet! Very easy to reach and she was able to help with a few issues we had while staying in Curaçao. The living room furniture is low to the ground could be difficult for anyone who has knee/joint problems. The outside furniture comfortable but bring bug spray! Lots of bug spray. Lastly, the pool was cleaned twice while there. Nice to have a clean pool but what wasn’t fair the pool guy left to start someone else’s pool while filling the pool at the house which seems odd and unfair when the renter has to pay for water while staying. He left and leaves the water run. Definitely an inconvenience and shows with the water bill we received at the end of the stay. Overall we had a great stay! The location is definitely a little ways away from town with very dark roads.
