Charming cottage (brand new construction 2023) sits under large oaks on quiet street. Located 7 blocks from waterfront and the ferry that takes you to the amazing Cumberland Island. Bike ride or walk to the downtown restaurants. Or just getaway for quiet time and sit on the shaded porch listening to the birds. Cottage completely stocked with all your needs.

Beautiful and Spacious

Our stay was wonderful. This cottage is clean, beautiful and spacious. The photos on the listing don’t do it justice. The neighborhood is very quiet. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Beautifully decorated in a comfortable relaxing decor with all the amenties we needed. Outside yard had large oak trees that were very beautiful. Within walking distance of downtown and restaurants. We had a very enjoyable stay and appreciate the owners attention to detail. We loved our stay here.

Doesn’t get much better than this!

What an adorable, comfortable, clean, spacious, and inviting cottage! Our family travels often and both my teenage sons said this is one of their favorite places we’ve stayed. The owner made check-in super easy and was available if we needed anything. The cottage is spotless and the decor is subtle beach vibes with a modern flare. (And the beds are super comfortable)! It’s a great location…close to downtown St. Marys. HIGHLY recommend this cottage!

This was a beautiful, super clean home in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay! Comfortable beds and all basics provided. The house is completely remodeled in a lovely coastal style. Would certainly stay here again.

Hurricane Helene knocked out power so we were not able to stay there. BUT owner communicated extremely well throughout the process. I would book here again. Unit is adorable and was spotless!!!

Cutest house, adorable town!

What a beautiful home, with so many nice, warm touches! Built with a keen “Southern touch”, this was the cleanest, most welcoming VRBO we’ve ever rented. Lori was a pleasure to work with, and downtown St Marys is a great location for a relaxed getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

You will not be disappointed. The home was well appointed and the master bedroom had a Temper-pedic mattress with bed elevation control. St. Mary’s waterfront was a short drive away.

Perfect Coastal retreat

Twin Oaks and St. Mary's meet all the benchmarks for a perfect coastal getaway! I stumbled across this Vrbo listing while planning our trip to Cumberland Island to see the wild horses. St. Mary's has several B & B type places, but the description and price of Twin Oaks was intriguing so we booked our 3 day/nights and were not disappointed. We fell in love with the town of St. Mary's and can't think of a better spot to get away/ The Twin Oaks Cottage is immaculate. The hosts seem to have thought of everything guests need - from the Keurig coffee maker and pods, to the rocking chairs and swing on the front porch everything contributes to the relaxing vibe. The air conditioning was perfect, the kitchen fully equipped If you are tired, rest on the most comfortable reclining sofa and watch TV or take a nap. If you have any questions, Lori is just a phone call away. I had one question and called - she answered immediately. Kudos to Lori and her team!

We came to St Mary’s to visit family and this place provided the perfect location for site seeing and visiting family in the area. It was clean and comfortable and the neighborhood was very quiet. We really enjoyed our stay.

The property was beautiful, but slightly under furnished. There should be a small dining table to seat 4. We were unable to prepare and serve dinner there as we had anticipated. Also neither of the AC units in the bedrooms were set up ready to go, We did not have air in either bedroom. The tv was difficult to watch any live tv. WiFi kept going out causing tv to pause. Felt the unit not worth the value with all the additional fees tacked on. Sorry can’t recommend it.

Rocking the porch!

The house is just as listed and very comfortable. A great quiet neighborhood and easy to get to “downtown” in about5 minutes. Sweet stay. Really enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening rocking on the front porch under the live oaks.

Very enjoyable stay!

Clean, modern, recently built home with new amenities and nice offstreet parking. Home is close to route 40, but far enough away there was no road noise. Owners live close by and are very responsive. We enjoyed our stay and will be back next time we visit family in Georgia.
