”Everything was clean and safe here. I could tell the staff did a good job cleaning the room before my arrival. The only thing I would say was lacking was the breakfast in the morning. Breads, cereal and parfait was really the only option. Would have been nice to have some eggs/sausage/bacon/hashbrown options. A good stay otherwise!”

”Beautiful building and amazing location! I always stay in this area and finally stayed here at the Canopy. I will be back! The parking garage was slightly annoying with the tickets but that’s nitpicking. Bed - 3/5 you could tell the bed was a little older and slightly less comfortable than many others I have slept on Price was right and everyone on staff was amazing! Overall I will be back every time I’m in Minneapolis! ”

”It’s a good place to stay for a reasonable price. Rooms are spacious & the kitchen area is nice. Lamps are updated, but the furniture (pull out sofa & chair) are older and more worn. Staff is friendly and breakfast has a variety of options.”

”We had booked a room with breakfast, but they forgot to give us breakfast coupons when we arrived. It wasn't big deal though, our waitress got one for us after we ate. There was a big storm during our stay, and the windows started leeking - half the carpet was soaked, but it didn't bother us. Location is nice, you can easily walk to Dinkytown and Downtown where all the restaurants are. In nearby blocks there's nothing much, but 10-20 min walk gets you about anywhere.”

”The cushion on the bed was dirty. There seemed to be a lot of dust in the room. We went to the bar in the hotel but the service there was terrible and overpriced. The tonic water with lime came with no lime nor ice just in the same small glass as the water and it was tasteless. I asked for another and it was the same presentation and they charged $5x2. No Kombucha available because that was a cafe menu…? The room was beautiful aside from the cleanliness.”

”The room was very clean, the shower was unique and the bar was a great time. Air conditioning worked very well, and the bunk bed setup was very nostalgic and enjoyable. Perfect walking distance to the Armory for concert stays or US Bank Stadium for a football game!”

”I was unknowingly put in a handicapped room. The bed was too soft and low to the ground. The window shades are automated, and didn't work. The shower controls weren't intuitive and the tub was slick. Not for me!”
