Beautiful 2 BR/2 BA condo on the 8th green at Isla Del Sol

Beautiful end unit first floor condo on the 8th green at Isla Del Sol Golf Course in Vista Verde West. This condo has great pond, pedestrian bridge, fairway and 8th green views. Totally updated with many amenities such as free wifi, cable, large flat screen televisions, and washer and dryer. Comfortably sleeps 4 guests with a king size bed in the master and a queen size bed in the guest bedroom. The master has an adjoining bathroom complete with 2 sinks, granite countertop, soaking tub and shower along with a large walk-in closet. The guest bedroom opens to a bathroom as well and has a walk-in closet. The large eat-in kitchen is well-equipped with a variety of cook ware, dishes, utensils, and glass ware. There is another dining area before the living area. Relax on the couch or a comfortable chair and watch the golfers play the 8th hole, or enjoy the water fowl playing in the pond right outside the sliding glass doors to the patio. On the patio is a table and chairs perfect to enjoy your morning coffee or evening happy hour. Across the street is a beach that our guests have access to. The phenomenal views from the beach include the inter-coastal waterway, Don Cesar, and the bridge to St. Pete Beach. On the beach are lounge chairs and tiki huts for your use.
Isla Del Sol is minutes away from St. Pete Beach, Tierra Verde, and Fort DeSoto Park. You can even walk/bike the bridge over to St. Pete Beach if you desire. It is truly one of the most beautiful places to vacation in Florida with the gorgeous turquoise water, pristine white sandy beaches and lush tropical greenery.

The location is perfect. Close to the beaches, golf, and shopping. My husband would take his morning coffee outside and enjoy the morning in the warm sun. The weather was beautiful during the first two weeks in January highs in the low 70’s most days. The unit was clean, spacious and in good shape. Bedrooms were good size, beds were comfortable, lots of towels in the bathrooms. Overall we were please and would recommend it to our friends.

Kitchen equipped for cooking but refrigerator didn’t work AT ALL. Not useful to have only a mini-college fridge in a closet that only held bottled water and coffee creamer. Not at all convenient when expecting to cook several meals there. Host did offer a small refund.Disappointed that the hot tub quit after 2 days (we booked for a week); seemed no one went to the pool afterwards. Guess it’s to be expected to encounter many bugs in Florida, but not when this condo appeared to be so clean. Host quickly responded by having pest control come, but still bugs persisted.As per “guest book” at condo, the last guests were there about 1 1/2 months previously. My recommendation would be to have someone check the unit a few days before known arrival of upcoming guests to avoid these unexpected issues. The host was very polite and attentive to our issues, but it didn’t make for an ideal stay at this location. As stated, the condo is beautiful and very nicely looks out at the 8th green.

This property is really nice for families or couples. Convenient location to St. Pete beach and Pass-A-Grille which is our favorite. Very nice views and nice pool. I’d recommend it to anyone.

combination vacation/moving relative trip

The interior of this condo is very clean and exactly as depicted in pictures, even bigger than online, I would say. The screen door entering gives a bad first impression, but all is well when you enter. Also the doorwall screen needs to be replaced as there are holes in it allowing lots of mosquitoes in if you want to go out. It was very humid and stormy the week we were there so we didnt go out that way. They were working on the golf course right outside so it wasn't as beautiful as depicted, but not owners fault. A heads up would have been nice, though. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen well supplied. All in all, we would recommend it!

Beautiful property

It’s a lovely condo… The kitchen had everything I needed. The supplies were very much appreciated. I did not have to run out and buy trash bags or dish soap or anything like that. Thank you for putting cotton sheets on the bed! They were comfortable. Before one takes beach chairs to the beach or the umbrella, they seem to be broken.

The place was immaculate. Convenient location. The one issue was the three steps you took to get to the front door. Steps were of different heights. I use a walker and found them a bit difficult to navigate. They certainly would not be a problem for persons without disability.

On the course

We stayed for two weeks. The property was clean and well equipped. The proximity to the beach was good. Although watching the golfers was entertaining, waking up at 630am because of the ground crews on the course was not so enjoyable, nor was the lawn sprinklers going off at various times throughout the night. The main bedroom was nice but the pillows need to be replaced and it would have been nice to have 100% cotton sheets. I would stay again but the noises outside would be a deterrent.

March 2025 Isla Del Sol Vacation

Very Clean. Beds comfortable. Great Host who answers questions immediately. Property had most things we needed. Didn't like getting stickered because of no parking pass on weekend (need to work something out with security until Management Services opens on Monday). Pool was a bit of a walk away but turned out to be not that bad. Chairs and pool were clean and very nice. We will be looking to come back soon.

This place worked very well for us during a week long stay. It's spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for us. Communication with the owner was always responsive and helpful. We would certainly stay there again.

Condo is spacious and in a great location. Pool is only a 5 minute walk. Would have liked better quality sheets and some face cloths. There is a slight musty smell when entering the condo. We called the property office multiple tines to get a parking pass and never got a call back. Thankfully we had no issues parking.

Condo completely exceeded our expectations. Was very spacious, spotlessly clean, good amenities, bed amazingly big and the area was lovely and right on the golf course. Communication from host was excellent and they were extremely accommodating. Very good value for money and would highly recommend.

Dream location and accommodations

This condo was in the perfect spot for us. Walk or two-minute drive to St. Pete Beach, easy access to highway. The condo is immaculate and quite spacious for a family of four. Beds very comfortable. Nice community pool and jacuzzi. Small beach, sunset views over St. Pete Beach and the bridge just across the street. The most amazing thing for us were the multitudes of water birds (anahingas, herons, storks, egrets) viewable from windows and patio. We could have watched all day. Stayed a week, wish it was a month.

Nice and quiet place

The place was very clean and quiet. The pool is quite aways from the apartment and was out of commission while we were there. It could have been from the storm that had just been through. The security officers weren’t the most friendly but other than that we had a great stay. Great view of a beautiful golf hole out the back door!
