We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Sanddollar! The space is well appointed, perfect for a family, is beautifully decorated with just the right balance. The place was spotless upon check in. The outdoor areas are a wonderful extension of the homeâŠwe spent almost as much time on the back patio as we did inside. Bill and Tamara are wonderful hostâŠif you have concerns about the owners being right next door, donât! They were hospitable but truly respected our family and privacy. This was the first trip that we didnât feel the need to pack a bunch of household extrasâŠand we didnât need them because the house was stocked with the perfect amount of goods (shower necessities, towels, linens, blankets, toilet paper and paper towels, etc). The location is perfect to get away from the sometimes crowded areas of the island. Itâs a lovely walk to Harrington Park and so close to some delicious restaurants. Harris Teeter is only a few minutes away, too. And thereâs a brand new Friendlyâs store thatâs walkable if you need to grab a quick item. I was worried driving to East Beach would be an inconvenience, but it was just perfect. Weâve only been gone one day and are ready to book again and come back to SSI!
