Beautiful Ocean View 2 Bed 2 bath condo Above The Beach at Cowpet Bay East

Welcome to the Caribbean Ruby. Your vacation home away from home. It starts with a fully stocked kitchen that is sure to please. It includes a coffee pot with filters, blender, toaster and a microwave over the range/oven. A dishwasher with detergent which makes clean up nice and easy. We have plenty of dishes and silverware, wine glasses, serving platters, pots and pans, a crockpot for set it and forget it meals, even a roasting pan if you are wanting to cook a Roast. There is a washer and a dryer with laundry soap provided. We have King size beds in both bedrooms and 2 sets of towels to keep you clean throughout the week. We also provide you with beach chairs, beach towels, noodles and a cooler to keep your drinks nice and cold, You can take these items with you if you decide to explore other beaches on the Island. There is also WIFI for your convince. Included is access to the private pool and hot tub on the Elysian Beach Resort property; just a few minutes walk or short drive from the condo. Enjoy your days relaxing on the beach in the turquoise blue water of the Caribbean. For your convenience, there are two(2) restaurants on the beach, Sangrias and Caribbean Fish Market. For fun in the water, rent Kayaks or other water sport toys at the rental facility right by Sangrias on the beach. (Bring a Passport you might you decide to charter a boat to one of the British Virgin Islands). You will fill your days with memories that will last a life time.
Your stay here at the Caribbean Ruby will have you start planning your next trip before you even leave!


If you cancel the reservation by written notice at any time prior to sixty (60)** days (or longer) before the commencement of the rental period, we will refund all monies paid thus far; minus a processing fee of 3.5% if the reservation deposit was paid by credit card. NO REFUND will be made for any cancellation, for any reason other than major Hurricanes, if less than (60) days** prior to commencement of the rental period.

**90 days for Holiday weeks: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years.

Great week

Nice property with upscale resort benefits in fun part of the island. Close to Red Hook with diving, restaurants, and the short ferry ride to St. John. The hosts were very nice and helpful for our vacation.

Great condo with a great view

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our friends joined us for our first trip to St. Thomas. Our stay was comfortable, great amenities, well stocked home! You wanted for nothing here. Clean, quiet, and like a home away from home! We highly recommend this place! Diane was great too!

Perfect condo in the perfect spot

Diane’s condo was great. We could not have asked for more. Everything you could possibly need is there! We cooked dinner most nights and it was perfect for us. There are also two great restaurants just down by the beach if you want to get out. The beach is perfect and having access to the pool next door was so nice. Alice, the on site host, was also so sweet. She was so helpful during our stay. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would rebook Diane’s condo again in a heartbeat!

Nice Place to Stay

Very nice house and we liked the location too. The views from the house were beautiful. The house had everything you needed. We were very comfortable there. Diane and Alice were very helpful. We would stay in this location again.

We had a great stay in Cowpet Bay East and enjoyed the quick access to Red Hook. Working with Alice on logistics was super easy and helpful...she pointed out lots of resources for us that definitely enhanced our visit. Would recommend.

Beautiful Condo

We loved our stay at this beautiful location. Condo is equipped with many basics paper towels, soap, detergent sunscreen etc which were much appreciate. Ocean views were amazing! Property is 5 min walk from the beach which is mostly up/down hill but there are good steps and handrails and an ability to drive if needed. The snorkeling at the condo was fantastic and we even saw a sea turtle the last day. We also did the day sale with the owners friend Captain Pat which was like lovely.

Wonderful trip.

My family of four just spent a week at Caribbean Ruby. The condo had everything you need. Diane has a check sheet of places to eat and see. We spoke a couple of times before our trip. She recommended a car rental and a sailing excursion, both were wonderful. The sails excursion was out of this world!

Girls Trip

AMAZING! My daughters and I came for a girls trip and are so glad we found this place! The location is awesome as far as being close to any and all things, right up the hill from Red Hook and close to the car barge so you can island hop! The local beach and restaurants were great! It is a god bit of walking to get there but that’s to be expected on the island! Alice was thorough and a great host, gave us all the information and insight! The rooms were clean and comfortable, plenty of towels and complimentary beach chairs and floats! The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing and overall we had a great stay! Thanks Alice!

The place is fully stocked with just about everything you might need. very quiet community close to everything If I could give a idea what would be nice to have is water hose out side front door to wash shoes and feet off. to help control the sand from coming in . work out great at our summer place at Delaware beach place . over all would stay there again

Great Place to Stay!

We spent a week at this property. We throughly enjoyed ourselves. The beach and the pool are walking distance. Both very beautiful! Plenty of room for all four of us. Kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils and pots and pans. We cooked a lot of our meals at “home”. Lots of beach towels to use as well as sunscreen. Diane was easy to communicate with and Alice met us on our arrival and was just a phone call away. We highly recommend staying here. Can’t wait to visit again!

Christmas vacation

We visited the island in the middle of December, the weather was fantastic, this property has a great location, we rented a jeep and in a 10-20 minute drive from the property you can reach most of the sites. Our trip was nothing short of fantastic. The beach and pool were always clean and rarely crowded. The property was safe and quiet. We appreciated having a quiet location but easy access. The condo was very clean and well kept. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Plenty of cooking utensils and cookware. Overall, it’s a fantastic place. I would definitely recommend to family and friends, and would stay there again. Diane and Alice are great hosts, made the rental process very easy and gave us really good recommendations for restaurants and for a sailing trip.

Wonderful time at the Caribbean Ruby

We enjoyed our stay at the Caribbean Ruby very much. It was very clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, plates, and appliances. The pictures of the rooms are accurate. The view from the balcony is beautiful. Having breakfast on the balcony or sitting on the love seat looking out at the water and palm trees was very relaxing. The bedrooms were spacious and it was great having two bathrooms. The two restaurants on the beach were very nice. We used the beach and pool at the Elysian resort. Bring water shoes because there are stones on the edge of water. We spoke to Diane several times and she was full of information. Her property manager Alice was great and met us and gave us all the ins and outs of the condo and the area. One thing to be aware of there are a lot of steps to get down to the Elysian beach.

The house is nice and we had a good time. The host was responsive via text with any questions or concerns we had. The kitchen contains enough dinnerware, silverware, glasses etc for a larger crowd. We could not find a can opener anywhere though. There was enough paper towels and TP to get us started. There was also a lot of beach chairs, toys, etc although we did not use them. All the appliances worked well. We were disappointed that there wasn’t a grill but the listing did say there wasn’t one so we were prepared. There wasn’t much in the way of food storage containers, no plastic wrap or foil but those are easily purchased at the dollar store. The house is close enough to a Walmart to get food delivered which was nice. Two bedrooms and one bathroom are in a separate unit out the patio door (by the pool). It was fine for us since we were all adults but if you are traveling with children be aware. The second unit has a kitchen but absolutely no cooking utensils, pans, etc. I guess you could use what is in the main house. We all ate together in the main house so we didn’t use the kitchen in the second unit. The second unit is cooled by two mini split units (one in each bedroom) the key the entire unit cool as long as we kept the bedroom doors open. The pool was very nice and clean and we enjoyed that it is enclosed since it helps keep the critters and leaves out of the pool. The check in/out was easy and I would stay at the property again.

Alice was a great host. She was always available to answer questions and she was genuinely interested in making our visit pleasurable.The condo and property were clean, well maintained and very comfortable and quiet. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped to meet all our needs and the private barbecue was a great feature. In addition, the unfettered use of the neighboring pool and beach was extraordinary.
