Great trip!

This property is BEAUTIFUL! The view of Sapphire Bay/beach is phenomenal and Gail's place is very comfortable.There are the understable signs of wear and tear from a location that is exposed to the elements, but the venue is gorgeous. Beach is about a 3 minute drive down some switchbacks.Pool is perfect for a small group and hot tub is very nice.

Beautiful/ relaxing

This was a beautiful property. Great views, pool, hot tube, outdoor eating area. Owner's helped us with anything we needed, gave us info on things to door, overall great friendly people!!! If there was one thing that was a negative, the walk to the beach we only did once because of the extreme hill and the crazy walk . It was very difficult and alittle scary with traffic.

Beautiful birthday celebration

Celebrated my mom’s 70th birthday. The house was set up perfectly for my mom to have her own space while my husband and I also had our own space. Our favorite part was the view and spending our mornings watching the storms move in and out. Gail was very accommodating. Would return again.

Great Stay!

The hosts, Gail and her husband Curlston, made our stay worth while. We were a party of 2 adults and 2 children, and we were very satisfied. Location, Location, Location, the property is located in Red Hook and very close to the beaches, the ferry, shopping and restaurants. The property has two levels, great for couples. All of our needs and concerns were handled quickly and professionally. I recommend this property and hope to return.

Amazing amazing amazing!!!!

We decided to rent Gail house for our family vacation on my birthday Everything went smoothly and greatly!! The house is perfect for a family of 4 especially considering my kids are young adults and they like their independence so we rented both units Very clean and there is everything you need On a vacation of 9 days we ate at home very often because you really feel like to be in your own kitchen Gail is absolutely amazing she knows exactly how to be a perfect host and the thing she lived above us was a great plus Great communication and she gave us all the possible advices to make our stay PERFECT Talking about the view from the porch .. Is something that you cannot imagine if you don’t see with your own eyes Wake up every morning and look outside the window make already great your day!! The only thing you should be aware of is that in St Thomas the roads are not great so I suggest to rent a jeep to arrive to the beach you definitely need to drive ,I don’t suggest to walk by . Besides that I highly suggest Gail’s house Thank you Gail for making my birthday unforgettable and memorable with my family!!!

Our first “real” Family vacation

Ocean Kaleidoscope was absolutely stunning; and our hosts, Gail and Curlson, went above and beyond to help us make magical memories for our family. They even helped us with transportation as we did not have a rental car (we really underestimated how steep the hills would be!) The only letdown was the hot tub was out of order and was one of the main reasons we selected this place in the first place. We understand it was beyond their control, but would have loved having night and morning soaks. Other than that, zero complaints: Prime location, with gorgeous views and total privacy; will recommend to family/friends/anyone whoever mentions wanting to go to St. Thomas! Hopefully we will be back again; our 9 year old was ready to find a new family on the island and stay 😅

Home away from home!!

From beginning to end, this was the easiest vacation booking we’ve ever done. Miss Gail is so communicative and answers every message in a timely manner. She and her husband hosted us and we had the most incredible time. Her home is exactly as described in the listing. We had privacy and the location was perfect. Pool is an incredible afternoon. Reward from a long day at the beach. This was our third trip to St. Thomas and on our fourth return we will definitely be staying with Miss Gail!!!

Incredible view and host!

This was our first trip to St. Thomas and we loved our stay at Gail's wonderful place! The view from the patio is amazing and where I spent all my time. To get that view, you need to be comfortable with a hilly/steep drive. It doesn't require a Jeep. Our rented Nissan Versa did fine. After you do the drive a couple of times, you get used to it! I've stayed in a lot of tropical rental places and this one was the cleanest ever (no bugs)! Gail is a great host who respects your privacy but is readily available for recommendations and good chats!

Breathtaking views

Ultimate Honeymoon Getaway

We could not have asked for or found a better spot to spend our honeymoon vacation. We are experienced St. Thomas visitors and we’re looking for something Carefree and full service. Gail made the entire day as well as the check in/out process completely seamless and her husband Carlson made sure everything was running smoothly the entire time. You will want for nothing at this location and be provided with things that you weren’t aware you needed to start with! I would highly recommend this place for any duration of time and for either family or couples. It’s also important to note that the location cannot get better as far as experiencing the islands best amenities. My husband and I will, without a doubt, be back to stay at Ocean Kaleidoscope once again!

Peaceful perfection

Simply perfect! Everything we had hoped and more. The property left nothing to be desired and our hosts were amazing. Always available when we needed them but gave us space and privacy. It was an island home away from home. Great location, clean, well stocked with everything we needed to make our stay perfect. An absolute must return for us.

I highly recommend this property. It’s beautiful and The studio apt is such a bonus! This property comes equipped with everything u can imagine, Beach, towels, beach chairs, tubes/floaties for the pool, sunblock, first aid kit, A stocked bar!!!!! U name it, it’s there. The view was like waking up to your private paradise. The bed was something I worried about because we have sleep number beds at home, but to my surprise it was MOST comfortable!!! The host and hostess stay on the property but are not intruding at all, and u don’t even know they’re there. Was nice to know they were available for any concerns we May have had but we had none. Just one recommendation, It would’ve been nice to have a screen door or bug screen at the entrance sliding door to be able keep it open and turn off the air to enjoy the cool breeze, because the breeze off the ocean is truly refreshing! 10/10 for this property

Incredible Vacation and Stay

The description of "beauty, comfort, value" could not be more accurate. Gail and Curlson were incredible hosts and could not be more polite, accommodating, or hospitable. All of the pictures and descriptions of the property are very accurate. The view from the home is incredible! The hot tub and pool are perfect for a group of 4-6. The only thing I would preface is that there are a lot of roosters and chickens on the property- be prepared for morning wake up calls and evening commotion as they roost in the trees. The property is also well located to most points of interest and is very close to the ferry terminal making it easy to get over to St. Johns for the day. Overall an incredible stay and we cannot wait to go back!

Beautiful views and excellent hosts!

Where to begin...First, I want to say that the views to wake up to at this villa were spectacular. It was beautiful at any time of day, really. We enjoyed the accommodations, from the pool to the hot tub, to the master bedroom and separate bedroom down the stairs. The villa is impeccably maintained, with all new appliances, and well stocked. Probably the best part of this villa are the hosts, Gail and Curlton. You will never feel like a stranger in St. Thomas because of their gracious hospitality, and wealth of resources provided to you in advance, so you can plan out your trip. We felt like we were home and would gladly return again!

When in St. Thomas...

If you ever plan on taking a trip to St Thomas, it is a MUST that you book this beautiful home tucked in the hills! My family and I had an absolute wonderful time staying here! Gail and her husband Curlson were thee absolute best!! From booking to checking in to checking out, Gail made the process so easy and hassle free. And when she says to pack light, you don't need much... she means it! The house is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for your stay. We're already planning on returning next year. Great views that I didn't want to leave!

Great place to stay! Gail was wonderful, provided excellent knowledge of the island, and was very accommodating. The view from the patio is awesome! I could have spent each day just hanging out there and been at peace. The location is nice if you do not enjoy the crowded resort feel, and don't mind traveling a bit to locations you wish to swim and dine. Their home was perfect for my type of vacation. Next time Gail and Curlson will need to party with us. I look forward to when we meet again! 🙂

Wonderful honeymoon location

This property has everything you need to have a wonderful stay on Saint Thomas! From the great views to the nice pool and spa to a full kitchen space and comfortable beds...what more could we ask for?! Our hospitality was splendid and our hosts were more then willing to help us out with anything needed. The home is located high up on the hill and getting a cab proved difficult at times but with the right driver everything can be accomplished! Huge thank-you to the Ferraria's for the wonderful space!

Great property and great location!

Reserving on VRBO was easy, communication with owners good from the beginning. GPS wasn't up to finding address, Curlson sent us a pin to track with Google maps. Curlson was even willing to drive to us and lead us there if needed, but we found it easy with Google maps. (Be ready for some tight roads and steep inclines though.) 4x4 is a good idea, but not necessary. What is necessary is a rental car with ground clearance. The property was as advertised and we very much enjoyed our stay. Great views, close to ferry and Red Hook (Marina, shops, restaurants.) Although you can get anywhere on the island in 30 minutes. Bed in main house very comfortable, ceiling fans and AC window units keep everything comfortable. Kitchen is well outfitted, except no dishwasher. I counted hanging out at the house, sitting on the patio looking at the view, and lounging in the hot tub just as good as doing touristy things! Owners were on the upper level, but I hardly ever heard anything. (Except the chickens.) And the sun comes up on this place, so a great property for early risers. I hugely enjoyed watching the sun rise while sipping my coffee. There's coffee and spices in the cabinets, and the public liquor cabinet was awesome. Would definitely stay there again!

Incredible views!

We had a fantastic stay! I could have spent my entire vacation just sitting on the patio enjoying the breathtaking views and breezes, but we also loved how close we were to beaches and Red Hook. The amount of space was perfect for our multi-generational group of 5. As others have said, the owners have really thought of everything you might need for a comfortable stay. They even had some small Tupperware, which seems so obviously useful, but which I’ve never seen in any other rental I’ve stayed in. A couple of things to know that might not be obvious from the listing: there are some roosters roaming around nearby, which didn’t really detract from our enjoyment of the property, but which did wake us up at odd hours if we didn’t have the A/C running or ear plugs. Also, the driveway is short, but very steep, and may be difficult to navigate for those with mobility issues (my mom suffered a foot injury shortly before our trip and it was do-able but challenging). That being said, it’s a beautiful property, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Ocean Kaleidoscope

It was a little difficult to find the property, but hosts were very accommodating and helpful when we arrived. They were always available to answer questions and presented us with many options of places to go, and things to do. Very kind and easy to work with. It was a very nice and relaxing vacation.
