Tule ja tutustu pala paratiisia on Bolongo Bay! Meillä on ylellinen kahden makuuhuoneen asunto sijaitsee aivan veden Bolongo Bay. Nauti aamiaista oman ranta patio, rentoutua rannalla, tutkia vedenalaista luontoa, tai matkanjärjestäjän trooppisten maisemien St Thomas ja St. John. Our host was very welcoming and quick to respond to questions. Receiving directions and suggestions ahead of our trip was very helpful. The unit was true to the description and photos. The view from the balcony and sound of the waves was amazing!!! Having 3 restaurants/ bars within a short walking distance was a plus and very convenient. Listening to the faint live music coming from Iggies each night while enjoying the view from the balcony was great. The three pools we had access to were very clean and the views of the ocean from 2 of them was very relaxing. The location of the unit was centrally located to all of our activities on the island.

The hostess was very welcoming and accommodating to questions prior to our visit. The unit was clean and as described in photos and description online. Master bed was very comfortable for us. Hostess was extremely proactive when I had to contact her regarding an unexpected issue in the unit, it was handled as well as could be expected considering the timing. I would recommend this site to others- the convenience to the resort was fabulous!

The condo was essentially worn out from years of use and almost no refresh. There was no hot water, rather only limited lukewarm water, and there was only a trickle of water from the hot water side of the taps in the kitchen and bathrooms. One of the bathroom doors doesn't close, the drain in the one bathtub was unattached, the caulking in the bathrooms was thick from new applications but yet there were large gaps between the flooring and the tub. When new wall air conditioners were installed and the masonary ripped out, the new masonary was never painted leaving a grey cement. The TV comes with five different remote controls, so learning how to use the system was extremely time consuming as in the end, we figured out only two were required. There was no safe as listed in the description. The external door handle on the outside has a piece that simply hung on the door without being attached. The tiles on the floor were chipped and cracked and had lost the original seal such that it felt dirty to walk on them and in fact your feet became dirty from walking on the floors. I travel extensively and I have to stay in one and two star hotels in remote locations at times and this was a one star accomodation charging four star prices. The pictures and descriptions on VRBO did not show the condition of the condo that we stayed in and in fact they must have been from times past but definitely not today.
How do you keep things clean when things like the broom were absolutely filthy.
A trickle of luke warm water--impossible to take a shower and wash your hair.
Tiles were chipped and broken throughout the condo.
The caulking in both bathrooms was a mess from having been done over and over, plus sections had no caulking.

Hard to complain about being on a tropical island - I would say the reviews about updating are correct, Luke warm showers with no pressure (but it’s island life!) noisy AC, bedroom fan that only works on high, noise from the bar band till 11pm, however the location and patio view were perfect. Host was responsive , pool was great, many good meals at nearby Iggies.

I wanted to love it.

The property is on Bolongo Bay. The waves crashing were amazing! We spent essentially the entire week outside on the porch. One reason for that being is we felt the sofa was entirely too dirty to sit on. We never sat on it! Lukewarm showers. Needs updating!!

Horrible experience- RUN from this place

Upon our arrival on December 30th, we attempted to get the internet to work. The owner provided directions on how to reset the internet, which included instructions to call the internet provider if we couldn’t resolve the issue ourselves.After spending nearly 40 minutes on the phone with the provider, I was informed that they couldn't fix the issue remotely and would send someone out on the evening of January 2nd. This meant we would be without access to TV, a computer, and cell phones for four of our six days. The owner suggested I ask a neighbor for their internet or go to a coffee shop. I expressed my discomfort with those options and said I would need to find alternative accommodations. At that point, we left.In response, she told me I would still have to pay, stating that it was their busy season. I pointed out that no one would consider renting a place without access to TV, internet, or phone service for four days as this is equivalent to living without electricity.VRBO agreed with my position and refunded their fee, but they explained that I would need to speak directly to the owner for a full refund. The owner refused, claiming they could not guarantee internet access on an island. She genuinely thought it was acceptable for my husband and me to stay there without access to a TV, computer, or cell service for four days.I am currently disputing this charge with my credit card company, but I strongly advise anyone to avoid this place.

Had a great stay here, so nice to be right on the water. Owner is very responsive and super nice. Easy access to lots of things to do on the island, nice to have two restaurants and a bar within walking distance as well.

The view is the best ever

So. The condo is a bit older and worn out. It straight up needs updating. BUT it is pretty clean, lots of extras like spices, coffee, filters and dish soap. Extra TP and paper towels are super nice to have. The location is fantastic if u r looking for something more relaxed and out of the way but it is only walkable to Mim's and Iggy's. Mim's is fantastic but pricey. Iggy's is more laid back. The patio doors stick something terrible but I mean we stayed out on the balcony ALOT. The living room furniture is fine but not very comfortable. The beds and linens are fantastic!! As said in other reviews the window unit air conditioners are loud but they work. If you are bougie or looking for something fancy then this unit is not for you but we were satisfied with the location and that amazing view of the ocean. You are serenaded all night by the waves crashing on the rocks and the beach. There was a few problems but the manager was receptive and helpful. We would definitely come back again.

Wonderful location on the bay. Short drive to either Charlotte Amalie or Red Hook. Easy walkable distance to the resort, where snorkeling and scuba is a must do. Loved watching the turtles feed in late afternoon off the deck.

If you’re looking for something ritzy, this is not it. Unit was very clean, beds were comfortable & everything you need is there. Could use some new pans. Remote forTV didn’t work & volume was only very low. Could definitely use new AC units. Although the AC worked very well it was very loud. The glass sliding door in the bedroom didn’t open. The owner offered us an early checking but our plane was delayed so we couldn’t check in early anyway. The kitchen had many condiments & even coffee. The many pools on the property were great. Hardly anyone at any of them. Listening to the waves crashing all night was very relaxing. We text the owner several times after we arrived with no response. Alll in all it was a nice condo

Our Wonderful Vacation

This was overall a wonderful property. The view was amazing. Waking up in the morning with a cup of tea on the balcony and the sunrise in front of you is defiantly a memorable experience. Having a kitchen and two bedrooms with two bathrooms was a plus for us. The only con for this property was how hard it is to keep up on the Maintenace on the Island. Our beautiful sliders in the Master Bedroom were never able to be opened and the other had a little trick to it for opening and closing. The track on this one defiantly needs replacing. But as I said overall, we had a great time and would probably stay here again if the situation presented itself.

If you're looking for the Ritz, this place ain't it.... it is an amazing condo in a older building. It shows its age, but we didn't come here for the room. The condo has everything you need for your stay. If you rent a car, be careful of the drivers here... nuts! We had a taxi service we used, they helped us plan out trip. His name is Oniel, his card is on the table. Take heed to the sign about feeding the iguanas unless you want 7 of them on your porch. (We named them, spike was the coolest) they are harmless and leave when you shoo them away. Super relaxing porch, water breaks on the rocks 10 feet next to you. The restaurant Mims Bistro was "ok" The resort next door is opening today as we leave, so I can't review that. Overall, incredible value and a incredible view. You won't be disappointed

We would book here again. Great price, great location and nice condo with amazing balcony view.

We stayed for 10 days and would return tomorrow if we could! The location was great right in the middle of Red Hook, all the beaches just past Red Hook, Tutu for all the lower price groceries and Charolette/French Bay. Every trip was quick and easy around 15 to 20 minutes. We didn't swim in Bolonga Bay, as most days the beach had sea grass (the resort tried to keep up and maintain, but the current just brought in a lot of it). A path was always raked from our end of the bay to the resort on the other end. Minus the seas grass. There was a stunning views from the condo balcony. It was balcony, large rocks with iguanas, then crystal clear water over a rocky sea floor. What a view. We even saw a sting ray swimming one afternoon. Bolonga Bay was very quiet, just the sound of the waves splashing on the rocks outside our balcony. Very relaxing. The condo was attached to Mim's and the food was absolutely incredible. The beach bar Iggy's at the resort had nightly music and great fish tacos. Make reservations for both. The king bed in condo was very comfortable. Kids slept on the queen bed and had no complaints. Showers had good water pressure, all kitchen items worked. The pool that was steps past Mim's (attached to our building) and was clean - nice quiet hang out after a long day. The only issue we had was the balcony door was hard to open and close. So although it may not have been as luxurious as some of the resorts, it had all the amenities and a great price to make a quick meal. We rented a car. We did our days of snorkeling and swimming on other beaches. If a beach has an entrance fee, pay it, it is worth it. We snorkeled Linquist, Secret Harbor, Coki, Sapphire on St. Thomas and Hawksnest and Trunk on St. John's. We took the island ferry to Water Island and rented a golf cart. A must do. Check out the old military fort, go to Heidis for fish tacos. The beach/water on Water Island was beautiful with a beach bar. We took our own snorkel gear and saw turtles at most beaches. The snorkeling is great everywhere. The only thing we would change would be the charter to Buck Island for turtles. For the $$ we were expecting more, but we saw more turtles on Water Island and LInquist snorkeling on our own. The catamaran was fun, but our family does better exploring on our own. This vacation spoiled us. The USVI beaches, snorkeling, hospitality and beauty will be tough to match. 10 days wasn't enough! Thanks letting us stay, it was hard to leave!
