Featured on HGTV's Caribbean Life, Chateau Nightwind offers a 3-bedroom with amazing views from inside or on the large deck of the Virgin Islands and close to Magen's Bay. Equipped kitchen including stove, Keurig, refrigerator, microwave and small appliances. Flat screen TVs, A/C in bedrooms and Sleep Number bed in the master, open air showers in both bathrooms. Hot tub & grill outside. Automatic whole home generator, so no hassles with island power outages! Fastest Wifi available on the island.
Anyone bringing a child or a 5th person must communicate with owners for prior approval since the villa is set up for 4 Guests only. And there will be an extra charge of $50 per guest per night. This is a non smoking property and we also do not allow house parties per Airbnb's policy. Guests are required to not make noise, notably outside, after 10pm.

Awesome place, wish we could have stayed longer. If I ever make it back to St. Thomas and Magen's Bay I would recommend this place... The view is simply spectacular!

The home was nice and located in a quiet area. It was pretty accurate to the photos and was well stocked. Views from the deck were fantastic. Plenty of seating options in the living room/kitchen area. The listing could use more details about things like there being two units in the home (upper and lower) and inclusions (linens, toiletries, beach gear, etc.) as well as note things like there is only AC in the bedrooms (which was fine had we been able to leave the sliding doors open to catch the breeze). We had issues for 2.5-3 days with the WiFi/TV and refrigerator not working even though there is a generator on site. The host was mostly great with communication, but there were times with lapses in responses to specific concerns (WiFi and refrigerator) and we didn't receive checkout instructions until the morning of departure when we had to be out of the house very early to catch our flight home. Our biggest frustration was not receiving even a basic apology that the WiFi and refrigerator were down for 50% of the trip and we had to throw away food.All of the screens on the sliding doors were missing or torn (host noted previous tenant raised this issue). **Some hooks in the bathrooms for towels would be super helpful. The semi-outdoor shower was cool, but it rained at some point every day rendering the closet bar unusable since anything hung on it was getting wet.

Chateau Nightwinds is a wonderful property in a beautiful, quiet, gated community. The house had more than enough room and the views were incredible. Beds were very comfy and the AC works great in the bedrooms. No need for AC in rest of house as the sliders open and the breeze is excellent. David did a great job of communicating with us and made sure our needs were met.I would definitely look to stay here again on a return trip to St. Thomas.

Probably one of the coolest vrbo’s we ever stayed in, despite a hurricane coming through we were still able to make the most of it and had an amazing time. Would definitely book this spot again.

Amazing property but lousy communication with host

The property is lovely. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you have 6 adults. The mattress/bed in the bunk bed room is awful. The shower that is not part of the master bedroom trickles or just stops working all together. The hot tub was very cold and not useable. I have never stayed at at VRBO property where the checkin instructions were not on the app. The property owner’s phone number on the website has been disconnected. The property owner will email you the checkin instructions but it doesn’t come from VRBO so if you don’t know that it is easy to miss. He will provide a # to contact him but if you mention any kind of complaint (hot tub, shower) then he won’t reply any more. Two nights was enough for me due to the awful bubbles room and shower trickle. The view was a highlight for sure. I have never stay

Spring Break Getaway

Chateau Nightwind was the perfect setting for the 'final' Spring Break Getaway for our college kiddos. The location was comfy and accommodating for all if us. Leisurely mornings on the deck, packing lunches for the beach and a soothing hot tub at night before a peaceful night's sleep. We appreciated the hidden beach goodies such as the cooler, towels and snorkel gear. Thanks for the EXCELLENT communication David. Your efforts made our stay flawless.

Beautiful Views

We had a good stay but the previous group was two hours late getting out and the place was not finished being cleaned by arrival. Hot tub, a reason why I picked it, was very dingy. Owner didn’t respond when we notified him. Not even the next day to apologize. We only stayed one night before picking up a charter so I suspect we weren’t a high priority with a one night stay. I would stay here again if these issues were worked out. But the set up was good for our group and the property was otherwise as advertised and well located.

Perfect Honeymoon Spot

Beautiful view, quiet property, very private. Hot shower and hot tub—great for a morning soak or after a long day. Never even knew downstairs tenants were there. Everything you could want in a vacation home!

WHAT A VIEW

The views from this home were 2nd to none! Absolutely stunning!!! Very clean!! Close to Magen's Bay. The kitchen was very well equipped with the exception of dish towels (not a big deal) LOVED the showers. The only issue is the listing does not specify there are or could be renters below you. I specifically rented this spot because of how private and was unaware there would be people below us. Loved the views so much and highly recommend! David is a great host!!!

Great home!!

This home is in a gated community with only a few other homes. Inside is very spacious with three bedrooms and 2 separate bathrooms. Please note that although the bathrooms are inside the home, there is no roof over the shower portion, just a screen over it so the humidity from outside is still coming in. We just kept the bathroom doors shut to keep the rest of the house cold. There was a cute stray cat that came around outside and tons of lizards everywhere, they were awesome. We had noisy neighbors below us the first night (could only hear them out on the deck, not inside the home) but the other 2 nights it was very peaceful in the hot tub with gorgeous views. Property owner had great communication. There were also things left over I’m assuming from previous stays, such as aloe Vera, some drinks, etc. which was nice. 10/10 would recommend!!

Breezy Getaway

Our family had an amazing stay with David as our host! The house was gorgeous positioned perfectly overlooking the ocean and surrounding islands. I love the fact there was a recycling option and all the amenities worked. My kids stayed entertained and I was worry free in the gated community. Magens beach was just a short drive away and by far the cleanest beach with drink and food options. I would stay here again!

Excellent Views and Lovely Space

The property truly is lovely. There are a few minor fixes necessary such as a closet door being loose, but nothing that takes away from the experience. Very spacious. Bed was too soft for my taste. The outdoor space is awesome. David was very helpful and responsive. Love the outdoor showers! If you go, please feed the grey cat if she shows up. She is so friendly. Had a great time!

It was a great place for a few days in St Thomas. It’s a bit of a treacherous journey getting there- definitely recommend 4 wheel drive! Very steep roads while getting there. Great house, lots of space! A little warm in the main living without AC in there, but with all the doors open, the beeeze helped! Comfortable beds, well stocked with all you need!
