”Room was not very clean. We had a mouse running around one night! The porch area outside of our room was dirty. Some of the staff acted like they didn't want to be bothered. Food at the lodge was expensive! We won't be staying here next time we are in the area. On a positive note, the main building was clean. There was music and a great view from the main porch.”

”The bed rooms were clean, as were the bathrooms. The hosts were kind and responsive. However, the 1/2 bath smelled like urine. Additionally, it was extremely noisy. The dog barked & you could hear every movement they made upstairs. The beds were also very creaky and it was drafty. ”

”The cabin is located on a huge, beautiful property and overall has a lot of potential. The owner was very accommodating and kindly allowed early check-in and late check-out, which I really appreciated.However, there was a significant issue with bugs inside the cabin, which affected the comfort of the stay. ”We enjoyed our stay. However, there were a few hiccups along the way. We arrived at 5:45 and our door code did not work. I called the number listed in my email, one listed on the front door, plus texted the emergency number. It took 30 minutes to get a response. It was just a bit disconcerting to not have staff available, both to address typical needs or in case of an emergency. This also made us uncertain about overall security.”
