The Space:
We invite you to enjoy modern amenities while nestled amidst nature's beauty in the Red River Gorge. The cozy interior takes inspiration from nature with your comfort in mind. This newly completed build is crafted from two shipping containers. Every detail has been hand picked and designed to provide a memorable experience including a slide from the roof top deck, a spiral staircase, and a life sized birds' nest loft. When the weather is just right, enjoy the bar style setting with swings as your seat where the overhead glass garage door brings the outdoors into the kitchen. Interact with the mural wall for memorable photos, prepare a cup of breakfast brew with the Moccamaster coffee pot, or wind down with some yoga on the rooftop. Whether you want to be in the Gorge to enjoy nature and campfires, experience one of the most unique spaces in the Gorge, or to just get away to rest your head, this base camp is perfect for creating lasting memories.
Sleeping arrangements:
Master bedroom with Queen bed and en-suite bathroom.
Bunk bedroom with Full mattress (bottom) and twin mattress (top) and en-suite bathroom.
Lofted space above living room with Queen bed.
Pull down Full murphy bed adjacent to living room.
(We can accommodate up to 9 guests if two guests sleep in the bottom bunk)
Guest Access:
Guests have full private access to the entire cabin, including the rooftop deck, spiral slide, swings, hot tub, fire pit, and all indoor spaces. Parking is dedicated to Base Camper Inn only. Check-in is completely contactless through a smart lock, and your unique code will be sent the morning of arrival.
The Neighborhood:
Base Camper Inn is located in the Twin Arch development, a small cabin community nestled on a hill with several other vacation homes nearby. The final road up to the cabin is steep, but the steep portion is fully paved, making the drive smooth and accessible for most vehicles.
You’ll be just minutes from Nada Tunnel, the iconic gateway to the Red River Gorge and the starting point for many of the area’s best hiking trails, climbing routes, and scenic overlooks. Despite the convenient location, the cabin still feels tucked away, offering a peaceful place to relax after a day of exploring the Gorge.

Each cabin is unique to specific items they include, however, RRG Getaways supplies the listed items below at all cabins as a baseline for guests. A starter amount of the following: hand soap, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, dish pods, laundry pods, and basic cleaning supplies. Any additional items needed will be the guest's responsibility to supply. We do not supply anything considered perishable or consumable, this includes but is not limited to, coffee, salt, pepper, oil and the like.
This property is located in the Twin Arch neighborhood with other cabins nearby. There is a very STEEP road leading up to this cabin. The road is paved in the steepest section. 2wd vehicles can make it without issue. Icy conditions will make this road challenging to navigate.
Base Camper Inn has a paved driveway space for 2 vehicles.
This cabin utilizes city water and it is safe for all use.
There is currently Starlink WiFi at this location, the cell service for AT&T and Verizon works well.
Toiletries are provided (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap)
Pets are not allowed at this cabin.
There is a smart tv that is usable via Starlink internet. There is also a dvd player; guests are asked to bring their own DVDs.
Board games provided.
Warning notice and hold harmless waiver for use of the bunk bed and the use of the ladder accessing the loft.
Please note, there might be construction projects nearby, primarily limited to weekdays and daytime hours. While we anticipate minimal disruption to your stay, occasional construction noise may occur. We do not have access or information on construction schedules.
