  • When your travel plans bring you to Steamboat Springs with a large group, pick a warm and inviting vacation rental that's conveniently close to the slopes. This beautiful property is designed to incorporate multiple levels and provide guests with over 2,000 square feet of comfortable living space. The living area includes a TV, a brick-framed gas fireplace, a cozy sofa, and decorative armchairs. Breakfasts, lunches, and dinners can all be easily served up in the well-equipped kitchen which offers plenty of counter space, cabinet space, and modern appliances. If the six-person dining table doesn't provide enough seating, additional counter stools can be found at the breakfast bar. And after exciting days on the trails, give your muscles a break by taking a dip in one of two hot tubs in the common area.

    There is always something fun and entertaining happening in this mountain village, no matter the season. When it's time to dine out, this condo sits within walking distance of popular local restaurants like T-Bar, Café Diva, and Slopeside Grill. Experience the relaxing and therapeutic qualities of some of the area's natural hot springs and take a trip back in time at the fun and fascinating Tread of Pioneers Museum, both within four miles of this home. And for all-ages, summertime fun, visit the Amaze'n Steamboat Family Fun Park, just a little over two miles west.

Great location for Steamboat skiing

Everything you need for a great ski vacation. House very comfortably spent our family of 5 adults. The kitchen is well stocked. The ski storage room was large and featured heated boot storage. We used th hot tub every day after returning from the slops. Vacasa shuttle was easy to schedule. We accessed the slopes via a 3 minute walk and a 1 minute downhill glice to the gondola.

Great 2-3 minute walk to the slopes each day (~200 yards). The shuttles are awesome. The condo needs some updating but is spacious and comfortable. The shutters in the MBR overlooking the den is a horrible design, why would people want to be in the bedroom and hear the people in the den or visa versa. Shower heads are made for short people (I'm 6'2 and had to bend way down in the MBR). Overall I'd stay here again, just a few things that could be easily changed for a 5* experience.

Family Ski vacation

The home is very clean and comfortable, spacious. 2 families ( 4 adults, 4 kids). The only downside it that the sleeper sofa is uncomfortable and not suitable for anyone but small kids. Living room sofa could use some update. Great location, 5 min walk to the slope. Waling is quicker than the shuttle. Vacasa shuttle is a real plus, takes you everywhere around town and you don't need a car. Kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and dishes etc. Hot tub was nice but could be little hotter. Washer and dryer work well. Plenty of storage for luggage and ski equipment. Would stay here again.

Overall great. There could be better and brighter lighting throughout the condo. And the rooms are very hot at night. Especially third floor. Even with the heat turned way down. The shower drain in the top floor bedroom does not drain well. Additionally, there were only a few teaspoons in the drawer. And I couldn’t find any measuring spoons.

Great stay, broken hot tub

Wonderful place to stay for a ski get away. However, the price reflected amenities that were not available to us. The hot tub was broken and there was no compensation for this inconvenience upon asking for a partial refund from Vacasa. This was disappointing.

I would rate Lacasa Top level home as Okay. The place is spacious with 3 good sized bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The vanities for each of the bathrooms are small. The rock sinks take up a lot of space. The bathroom with the largest vanity goes with the main living space or is used by the tiny room with bunk beds. The kitchen is really dark- especially over the cooktop. Even one of the bedrooms was missing a lightbulb, so we swapped out a bulb from an unused area, to light the area we needed. Management company didn't give us information to checkin late. They said they tried to call, but I ended up having to call them to find out how to checkin and then checkout. A information sheet emailed before would have been helpful. Also an information sheet on how to use fireplace and other items available would have been helpful. Some VRBOs leave laundry detergent as well as other cleaning products. We ended up having to buy a big bottle for 2 loads. I ended up leaving it for the next renters. Hopefully it will be left for future renters.

Perfect for our Oktoberwest stay

Had plenty of room for everyone and the place was perfectly clean. The proximity to the base of the village is less than a 5 minute walk, which was perfect for our group.

Summer Stay

This was a nice property to stay in, however, in the summer months, it would have been nice to be able to open bedroom windows at night. None of the bedrooms have screened windows you can open and there was a problem with bats recently so the property manager told us to close doors at night. Extremely hot and uncomfortable for sleeping. Also, the cleaning crew has missed a few items: moldy shower curtains and a stash of food in the bunk room including a rotten banana. Also, should mention that the bunk beds are in a "closet" type of room. Can't really even turn around once you're standing in the room. Other than these, its a well equipped kitchen and nice place to stay.

Lots of Room

We had a great stay here! There was a group of 10 of us & we were in Steamboat visiting my cousin for his birthday. There is so much space in the condo & the huge win is each room has a bathroom, plus one in the common area. The condo was beautiful and we had a great stay!

Happy We Stayed at La Casa Again

Very happy with our stay. It’s our second time here. We agian were very pleased, even though we had to rent a different condo this time. Location is great, condo was equally nice and private baths for each room a big selling point. We also really appreciated having robes to wear to the hot tubs.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It was a great location and the free shuttle was just wonderful. The house was nice and big and we could really spread out. The only couple of things that could be helpful are: adding some carpeting to the stairs, it was slippery going up and down, although the wood stairs were quite lovely to look at. The other was a few more cooking supplies in the kitchen and a few more cooking gadgets. We would stay here again for sure.
