”Amazing stay at the base of Black mountain with rad amenities. Double hot tubs and sauna were incredible. Staff were wonderful. Super mellow vibes in a classic old school new England inn. Our room was on the smaller size, but with all the fun stuff to do between the on-site Shovel Handle Pub and literally being in the same parking lot as Black Mountain, you don't need to spend much time in there. ”Loved the historical significance and serenity! Beautiful location and they have a nice bar, restaurant and pool. The lobby is very welcoming and when they don’t serve breakfast in the dining room they put out a simple but nice take it with you treat of yogurt and fruit, juice and bagels. ”The motel was very nice. The outside balcony was great, although the weather was to cold to enjoy. There was a beautiful area on the backside of the motel with a kids playground and a nice area to walk the dogs. We were on the front side and you could hear the traffic. We were close to restaurants and stores. Would certainly stay there again.”
