”The inside of the room was clean. Some areas of inside room were updated. But the beds were a horrible makeshift combo I've never seen before. And moving on them at all made a weird sound like worping sheet metal. The outside is dilapidated. Thank goodness we only stayed 1 night. It was graduation season and all we could find.”

”This is a small hotel with the outdoor entrance rooms. The owners have refurbished all the rooms. Mine was quite lovely. The bed was huge, I even had a recliner. The TV was a huge screen with plenty of channels. It was very clean and smelled great. The staff were so kind, helping me out. I’m disabled so getting inside the office to use the ice machine was a little hard but the boy behind the counter jumped out real fast to help. ”There was a fight going on in the lobby when we checked in and the guy behind the counter did nothing but tell us he had “had enough of this f$cking place.”Another hotel guest called the police. At this point we were looking for other places to stay as we didn’t feel safe, but we couldn’t find availability anywhere else. When we got to our room we were shocked by its condition. ”We stayed in the cottages, which overlooked the Missouri river and railroad tracks. I enjoyed setting on the deck in the evening watching them. The cottage we stayed in met or exceeded our expectations. We will stay there again. One thing we found out is that most of the restaurants in Herman close on Tuesday and Wednesday so we will not be staying in Hermann on those evenings again.
